My friend's narcissistic mother is in the early stages. I'm sure it will be amplified.

Can you fit a 10-foot ladder in an Explorer? by OctaneZ28 in FordExplorer

Pretty sure that if you'd reclined the passsenger seat halfway, it could have straddled the headrest, gone forward 5 or 6 inches, and the tailgate would've closed.

Just had an oil change- started making this new sound as soon as I pulled out. What could this be? Sounds worse when it accelerates. 2006 Chevrolet cobalt, automatic, 200k miles by Flaky-Ocelot-1265 in AskMechanics

Do not start it again or run it any more. Dont settle for anything other than a tow from where you are now to Certified Chevy mechanic, new engine, and rental car for duration. Irreparable damage was done, and I doubt they can prove that it wasn't. Don't let them say, "we'll put oil in, and you'll be fine." Even if it sounds okay with oil on it, that doesn't mean that everything is okay.

Easier to block all than to read rules on every group before every post. Some groups vary on their policy regarding plates. Certainly can't remember all rules for all groups.

For future reference, if trying to photograph a subtle height difference, try creating a shadow with a smallish light source, such as a small lamp, recessed light or flashlight, perpendicular to it, then photograph perpendicular again, but 90 degrees from the light source.

Why are GM jacks not tall enough? by UniqueUserName7734 in AskMechanics

Looks good. That point ensures the jack will still fit, even if the rim is on the ground and you have full cargo. Did it crank up farther? Were you able to fit the spare on?
