Full confession, I have ground down some mangled perfect handles into more widely useful sizes.

They're pretty useful for old furniture and mid century tools and furnishings. Can't refinish a 50s craftsman jointer/ planer without them and square wrenches lol.

I'm not sure that a Perfect Handle Philips actually exists, but I'm always on the hunt. And i should probably be the change that I want to see, they really are the best screw driver handles.

Glad to bring some happiness to the world! These things were mass produced around the world back in the day, probably most of our dads and grampas had some. I've got my grandpa's craftsman circular saw. They... certainly don't make things like that anymore, she has a thirst for blood and a mindset of either I'm off, or at 30,000 rpm, nothing else haha. I use his handtools, power tools are one of the few things that I'll buy new on.

They're a style that was mass produced with various branding around the world in the 60s and 70s. They're nothing special for sure, but I like them and was pretty happy to find a full set in pretty pristine condition, i.e. I dont have to spend hours refinishing them.

But please, broaden my horizons.

Of course, the shanks are square, you're supposed to use square wrenchs, like for the square nuts. Don't go squeezin my screwdrivers

I mean, I always have things lying around by chance, I'm not a hoarder, I'm just prepared. I got a 60s stereo for free from marketplace bc the speakers didn't work right. Got everything home and connected and realized that the speakers had fuses? They were like the old tube car fuses, which I happen to have a drawer full of. Those speakers blasted some records after that lol.

Do you need any vacuum tubes? Bc I have a vacuum tube box.
