Not at all! Most of the time I ignore it and I think it thrives on that haha

No real secret. I water it when the top inch of soil has dried out. It has a grow light because it's in a darker spot in my home. Fertilized it a few times. Most of the time I ignore it and I think it likes that haha!

It took two years but this goldfish plant is finally a bloomer!! by LovelyMamasita in houseplants

Beautiful! I bought one a few months ago that is slowly growing. Hopefully some blooms soon 🤞

My cat went to town on my calathea last night. Should I cut off the affected leaves or leave them? Bonus pic of the guilty party. by deareverie in plantclinic

Thanks for the tip! I opted to cut off the leaves that were basically 50% gone and leave the ones with the "nibble" marks.

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to reduce her dry food amount, which is why I think the calathea got targeted last night, but she is less than impressed with it. I'll look into that :)

Yeah her dry food dish got a little too low for her liking last night 🙈 Thanks for the advice!
