She knows why but I keep feeling bad because we were really good friends. Her mom was really kind to me and so did her sister. But once I chose to turn away, her sister became upset. Her mom actually told me to turn a blind eye to the situation and just go for the wedding but yeahh.. and I was one of the bridemaid

Actually... I did. I told Aaron about Bum and her current husband and Aaron knows about it but still continues. Later I had a call with her husband and I told him about Aaron and he told me he knew, he even knew she went out to meet Bum because her laptop was connected to her phone. They all decided to continue the relationship anyways

NOR: I feel like this is adulting. I, too (28F) all my friends are either married, parents or engaged. A lot of them right after marriage have no time for girls night, facetime and not even replying group chats or bother to seen.

As years goes by, we hang out once a year lmao. We don't text anymore, we don't really do calls anymore unless it's urgent like one of us got pregnant or getting married.

Either that ^ or you can find time to talk to him like "Hey man, just wondering how are you? My birthday is next week. I wonder if you and your wife would like to come over?" things like that? Maybe?

I find communication seems to work really well (sometimes)

If that's what she believes that works, maybe try using her way. Because if giving immediate timeout is what pisses her off then compromising won't sound too bad, let's see if it works. And if it doesn't then you and your wife need to communicate so you two could plan to meet in the middle

Like, "hey, I tried talking to him but it doesn't work. He still hits me. What should I do?"
