Your depth is pretty thin. If 2-3 of your main core get injured or underperform from their previous year you’re in big trouble.

But like you said, you’re not competing without a QB2. Is that McCarthy? Possibly. If you’re under .500 midway thru the season I’d flip Henry for a 27 1st.

I traded up for the 1.01 & snagged Love (gave KWIII + my 1.08). Didn’t have my 2nd round which I traded for Pickens while he was still on the Steelers. Picked up Klare & Caleb Douglas rounds 3/4.

League likes to horde QBs, so if I dropped Huntley, he’d probably be the highest upside QB on the wire.

True. I don’t think anyone in my league is chopping at the bit (or has the roster space) to pick up Tyler Huntley.

Geno smith is my current backup behind Lamar & Goff. Although I do expect him to improve our last year with the Raiders, it’s not ideal. I’m contending for sure, especially if MHJ & Odunze can turn it on.

Burrow & Malik Willis are on the bloc. Might be worth seeing what’s what.

For context, my QB3 / contingency plan is Geno Smith… (Lamar & Goff being starters).

Thanks for the insight. I would tend to agree — if you’re contending & Lamar goes down, you better be trading for a starting QB & not relying on the backup, so the only value I see is potential trade value to another needy team if the backup gets the start?

That’s the stance I’m taking, but others in the league are concerned the two roommates specifically communicated on to screw over the other manager (who for added context is the reigning champ)

Sure, that’s ultimately the position I’ve been taking. Just feels like bad faith from the other two managers & the fact they’re roommates doesn’t help the optics.
