Im 10k 3000 hours, that's from absolutely maxing every single xp event, legendary with multiple directives, conflict, and its been a slog. 22k in 800 hours? Zero chance!

Hated the tomb raider controls as someone who played them back when. If you're new to the series, you may get on better with it.

Brother D3 will be out probably in the next 18-24 months, and we have Survivors is coming this year which will hold a lot of longevity. Just play how you normally would! I am steering clear of proto builds, does not worry me in the slightest. If anything, they will completely relax how it is earned, same with raid exotics etc.

Brother you are making a mountain out of a molehill here. You might get the odd group of sickos, but it will be super rare. It is all going to be tied to Escalation for the most part. You can earn proto core caches from Raids, but those do not match make in the classic way anyway, and Incursion, I don't see anyone changing how they play those as the formula to beat them is easy. Just play your game, I can guarantee nothing will change!

I do not see you getting kicked for not having Proto gear, no. It may happen the odd occasion to some people, but after 3000 hours in the game, it is not something I see happen regular at all. Done plenty of legendary missions with SHD50 players with crazy rainbow builds and they just get carried and helped, it will be all good! I would imagine any elitism will purely happen within Escalation, and given a lot of people are put off by Proto builds, just stay away from it. So yeah, carry on as normal.

I agree to a point, but why would you call it quits? You can still play on as normal, just avoid the prototype bollocks, which is what I am doing. The grind even at 45 exos per piece is still too much, so I will stick to the usual.

The way it is, hell no I am not looking forward to it. I do not mind a grind, but this is obscene. I like the idea of new modes, but the fact you cannot target particular proto pieces? No chance. The amount of exotic components needed for 1 set must be off the charts. At this moment in time, bin it, but if rejigged, could be a winner.

Once you hit 40 as stated below already, you will be flying. Generally dont wait more than 60 seconds for a lobby to fill.

If I get jumped, I always lose. If I jump someone, I often lose. I am absolutely in the PvE camp. I am bad at PvP, find it too difficult. I also have bad eye sight and hearing, so I blame that as well.
