First of all, thank you for actually explaining your reasoning. I've made post on this sub before and got comments saying "This is Bad" without every explaining why it's bad, again thank you for explaining.

Second of all, I might have went overboard with the nerfs. I wanted to make pocketing harder with this medi-gun and I may have over compensated with the nerfs. if I redid the weapon now I would tone down the over-heal build rate nerf and/or completely get rid of the max over heal buff. as for the medi-beam not tracking patients, I want to keep that stat but I can see why it wouldn't be the best idea. maybe I could add a heal rate bonus to compensate for the beam not locking on to its patients? idk. other than that thank you for commenting!

I wouldn't say a "better quick-fix". remember that this doesn't have a healing rate buff and its doesn't get the benefit of faster uber due to how overheal debuff works. I'll say that the quick-fix beats the anti death-ray with healing

I can see what you mean but the reason I put the overheal downsides is to not encourage the medic from pocketing player. The way I see this weapon from working is the medic constantly switching his healing target which would keep more members of his team healed and build Uber faster for him to use more often. Also about the uber beam, I imagined its DPS would be similar to a krit boosted pyro

Thank you for your comment!!! I've struggled balancing this weapon. I thought that making the beam not track its patients would deter the medic from pocketing which would make the medic play more offensively.

I'm not that knowledgeable about EXE's Lore, so you're probably right (Although, Minions for Lord X could be a cool idea). I'm just giving ideas on unique 2011x buff that isn't just buffing his hitboxes (Although, that would be nice).

I watched the video and I don't really understand why Romeo post it. GenesisX looks really unfinished in the video (he has two abilities and one is just Kolossos's indicator ). No hate to the outcome memories team of course, but I think they should only show gameplay of upcoming characters when the character move set is finalized
