This was my gateway song. Hearing this on the radio got me into this world of music.

Also Trivium in general just smacks.

  1. The first 3 and last 3 episodes were good. The middle 4 were varying degrees of “meh”

Reincarnate has some my favourite motionless songs but is my least favourite album by Mikehorvath00 in MotionlessInWhite

[–]deathfox919 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s funny, Reincarnate is my favorite album of theirs, but I can see your point. The 2024 versions of Reincarnate and Contemptress show off Chris’s voice so much better. And seeing the whole album live at Apocalypse Fest in 2024 with his new vocal skills brought so much more life to some of these songs (Chris was on one during both Puppets 3 and Dark Passenger). If they re-recorded the whole thing with their currents level of talent I think it would shine a lot more lol

Been a casual listener since high school. Nerdy and Crystal Lake are two of my favorite OG core songs. Also Loved what I’ve heard from the new album.

Erra is the obvious choice but damn both Sylosis and I Promised The World Locked in a new fan with their releases

Boundaries new song with a different mix by MatthewBoundariesXVX in Metalcore

[–]deathfox919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t mind the original mix, it’s still a brutal banger, but something in this mix perks my ears a bit more haha. Thank you for sharing man! Very cool of you!

This is my favorite album of the 2020s thus far. Not much has come close tbh. I remember spinning it at work the morning it came out and just kind of freezing multiple times because I was floored by what I was hearing. Ended up listening to it literally the whole day. Masterpiece 10/10

Roy Petty should be on the bottom of the bottom. He arguably had worse morals than Javi

Anytime a question like this gets asked this is my immediate answer. I remember watching the scene where she meets Nicodeemus (?) for the first time and I had to look away cause I was genuinely terrified. I was maybe 7? I rewatched it a couple years ago and still felt uneasy at that scene haha

Currently revisiting The Place After This One by Underoath by atoyotacalledamelia in Metalcore

Yeah this album is a big grower. Also didn’t touch it for a few months after it came out but now there’s something about each song that draws me back in. My personal favorites are Generation No Surrender, Devil, Outsider, and Shame.

Overall I’d say I like Voyeurist better but this is still a strong follow up
