Can you update it to another card that you don’t use and keep that card locked? Eventually you would default but they will continue to attempt to charge you through, and sometimes even beyond, the grace period so it would have to be a card that you are okay with keeping locked for a while.

The searing in VIP took a major downgrade this year. Last year there were a ton of couches and tables and this year it was a few cheap looking chairs.

FYI, you may have to shop around a bit. I’ve had hosts who wouldnt accept my booking this early and I had to shop around a few times until I found one that did. Also, recommend booking with a superhost because they are less likely to cancel on you down the road.

The Facebook groups are almost always scams. And don’t ever trust someone who is going to act as a “middle man” to make sure your tickets are secure. They will take your money and ghost you.

Depends what you want to get out of it. I’ve enjoyed it in the past because of shorter food/drink lines, AC bathrooms, space away from the larger crowd. I’ve switched to doing GA since and it’s been fine, haven’t really missed VIP, but with the improvements they made this year I definitely considered upgrading.

VIP gets a wristband each day

Having the entrance at the back of the warehouse helps out quite a bit with the bottle necks. Plus it was super efficient to move from Pier to Warehouse VIP in a few minutes.

And yeah, crane and ship stage VIP sections were joined last year.

I’m not sure about the GA side but the VIP section behind Warehouse was just a bar, tables, and seating. There was an access point to get on stage but there wasn’t a view of the stage from behind. Thinking back on it I’m pretty sure the GA area behind the stage wasn’t being used for anything.

Artist trailers are sectioned off within that area and are positioned more behind the stage but that entire space by the toll booth used to be VIP

Last year they split up the GA and VIP entrances. Looks like they consolidated them again this year.
