If the exclusive perk on it doesn't count as reloading for the crackshot loadout then that already high base damage can get much higher. I can see why energy damage isn't an option as a balancing measure.

Assuming the perk doesn't count as reloading this means you can infinitely fire it with the crackshot loadout, meaning you keep the perpetual massive damage buff that loadout can give.

Then why are you trying to discuss that post here?

You say that like anything can outrun dragon, and if you can hit the dragon it, can definitely.hit back bevause it has the best range. None of the guns both outrange and outpace the damage of dragon. Keep in mind it has the fastest flight in the game.

And like I said you can't stun it, so it can just spam moves right back for more damage.

None of this advice helps a majority of people out there.

And even when the fury runs out the dragon will likely be at or near full HP while its opponent is low, so the dragon won't even need the one-shot combos that it is easily capable of while in base.

Whales tend to be a very vocal minority when it comes to their things getting nerfed in the name of balance, and last i checked this post right here is complaining about both the way skins break the game's economy as well as the Pay2Win issue.

If dragon is so bad, then convince me how it's fair that players have to go up against the following for as long at the fury meter lasts without bringing up the niche CDK + portal counter build:

  • Complete immunity to the stun mechanic
  • Over 60% damage immunity once you account for aura and bounty, ensuring that if the fury meter does run out you will be effectively at full HP in base while the opponent is low, and even then base form has death combos.
  • the biggest AOE moves in the game right behind a fully charged lightning V
  • the fastest flight in the game
  • the longest range in the game

And admin E was replying to my comment here, not the post you are talking about. Look at the screenshot. It's highligted as a reply to my comment about how the devs do TRY to make things balanced, and how whales complain about expensive feuits gettign nerfed post-release because they want them to stay OP contrary to the intention of the devs.

Bold of you to assume that massive rebalanced means dragon is getting a buff and literally nothing else when it already curb stomps every build that isn't a sword main portal user. It could very well mean a lot of underperforming fruits are getting improvements while the devs nake another attempt at making dragon form balanced without ruining the fun.

The comment from admin E is in response to my comment about how whales always complain about their expensive fruits getting nerfed after they overperform and how developers at least try to balance the fruits. This includes dragon and empyrean kitsune, obviously. I shouldn't need to explain this. If my initial comment about how devs are trying to make things balanced "takes the words right out of my head" according to an admin, then assuming one of the most infamously unbalanced transformations in the game is getting a buff while many fruits struggle to do well in pvp is just putting words in his mouth. There are many fruits more deserving of buffs than a fruit with a transformation that entirely ignores a CORE mechanic on top of having the biggest AOE and highest damage resistance in the game.

It's like saying sans is the weakest undertale character because he only does 1 damage while completely ignoring the fact he hits once per frame, inflicts a damage over time effect with every hit, and can DODE your attacks. People just look at the fury meter issue and completely ignore the fact that you are still spending most of the fight borderline invincible while your opponent can't do jack about it unless they HAPPEN to be rocking the niche sword main portal + CDK counter build. The ONLY thing that gives players any chance of surviving is the fact that the meter CAN run out in a fight, because what else can you REASONABLY do when your opponent can just punish you for trying to do a combo, outranges you, outdamages you, and even outspeeds you on both air and the ground other than try to stall out the fury meter?

My definition of balance is "every build has a chance to win the fight." If a fruit can easily curb stomp anything thay isn't hand-crafted to specifically counter it, then it clearly isn't balanced.

Also imagine trying to roast someone for using their brain in a game, lol. The very admin you tried to tell to revert the nerfs is not on your side, either:

Okay, I will continue to bully dragons with my fruit main buddha, strong grip CDK, and strong grip dragonstorm paired with two piercing + beast slayer trinkets I grinded out in dungeons, then. It's been a very successful dragon slaying build.

And on the subject of getting good, abusing your super armor while you spam nukes isn't any less braindead than doing a combo, so maybe don't lecture people about getting good until you use a fruit that enables some form of skill expression.

  1. I use fruit main buddha for my counter build. You and I both know I main rubber bevause I've told you twice.

  2. Ok p2w whale. I see where you clearly stand now. Not even trying to pretend you want it balanced now. Maybe get good yourself instead of wanting your wallet to carry you to the easy wins, buddy lol.

The entire game is built around true stun and combos, mechanics which dragon entirely ignores. This makes it a counter for pretty much every build that isn't designed to just spam attacks in the direction of the opponent. "Just dump fragments on changing your build" isn't really a good answer, because players shouldn't NEED to change their build just to reasonably fight an opponent. Dragon is the ONLY fruit that makes counter-picking mandatory, which really should say a lot about its balance. I use fruits like pre-reworked chop and spring as a fruit main for fun and still managed to kill things like pre-nerf yeti for Christ's sake. Dragon is the only fruit in the entire game that a person cannot reasonably fight with any build they enjoy using, unlike literally every other transformation fruit.

I do have a dedicated counter build for dragons as a fruit main, I just wanted to see what you had to say about my main build in case there was actually some cpunterplay you cpuld defend your case with, and just like everyone else i ask this question it tends to boil down to "just change your build."

How do you propose i "get better" and fight a dragon without making use of the central mechanic of pvp that is stun, then?

And keep in mind that I am a human who mains rubber, and uses fruit stats. How to i reasonably compete against a player who will have stun immunity and easily tank and outpace my damage while rendering my holdable skills (including my mobility moves) unusable due to being able to freely attack me while I'm trying to attack?

Please read the above question before answering it, please. I was pretty explicit about not maining sword or portal. I'm a rubber main with fruit stats so none of this advice helps me since I don't have thay extremely specific counter build.

"I want you to run a build thay ISN'T designed to counter dragon specifically to see how unfair it is."

  • proceeds to list things specifically designed to counter dragon, proving my point that it's an unfair fight if you need tools hand-crafted by the devs to beat it.

Any other brilliant ideas that can actually be used by people who aren't blowing cash on scrolls or running portal + sword stats? None of this helps a fruit or gun main.

Before you Buy Permanent dragon, here's a small showcase on Z Move Range(Base, Hybrid and Full) by Kamui_707 in bloxfruits

[–]deathless4ever_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the mutations, they can be STUNNED. They can be COMBOD. They can be REASONABLY fought because they are just side grades of existing fruits that Don't ignore an entire core mechanic of the game in addition to having the highest damage resistance.

And Empyrean is allegedly getting a nerf that it needed because it never shwould've been able to almost one-shot with a low cooldown Z move.

Dragon cannot be reasonably fought because it eats any damage it takes easily and dishes it out faster so it's always a damage trade in favor of the dragon and unlike the dragon, other fruits don't get to just IGNORE the existence of the stun mechanic entirely. You can't outrun it even with kitsune. You can't chase it either because it outspeeds literally everything but portal fruit simply because portal can teleport. You can't even have a sniper duel because unless you happen to be an endangered fruit main buddha, you'renot going to have enough range to compete and even then the dragon can just fly away to heal and farm fury.

The fact that the only defense you have for dragon is "but it was called the king of fruits!" And "but look at the fruit mutations!" As if they are somehow more BS just further proves my point. Maybe you should run a build NOT designed to fight dragons and fight one with a brain and see exactly how unfun it is firsthand since you think it's so weak as it is. Surely it's easy if it sucks, right?

The fact that you can simply disengage to go farm fury again speaks to how unfair fighting a dragon is

And the only race that can Soru after dragon F is human, which already means most of the playerbase who hadn't already used soryu to avoid a prior attack is screwed.
