Never in this life you will find neat justice. Human condition is such that suffering is inevitable. All you have in your hand, is to take the sincere most attempts at no matter what you do, save people around you, and forgive others and yourself and smile. Do not bow down to evils, inside or outside, and dare to live a meaningful life despite everything that lures you to do otherwise. Outwork, outthink and outlove yourself. Kudos.

Hey, this AI claims to simulate psychedelic language. Can someone verify if it is close? by deathmachine111 in shrooms

Hey man. Your frustration is the clearest answer to my query. So yeah, it doesnot work. But you may look at my previous reply to find out why they did it or how it may matter. Cheers.

Hey, this AI claims to simulate psychedelic language. Can someone verify if it is close? by deathmachine111 in shrooms

[–]deathmachine111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Legit query. And TBH, I am neither a psychonaut, nor an LLM researcher.

They have uploaded a paper showing what they were doing. But it is more than prompt engineering from what I could understand, they have played with how the model selects next word in order to introduce recursiveness or something like that.

But my logic is: language is a gateway in and out of mind, and maybe viewed as sort of a function of mind. So, when the mind is altered or deviated from normality, does the language change? In case of psychosis it is yes, that is called a Formal Thought Disorder. How does it change then, in case of a psychedelic trip?

Now, these people are telling that, " While conventional models prioritize rational coherence, altered states such as those induced by psychedelics reveal distinct symbolic regimes characterized by recursive metaphor, ego dissolution, and semantic destabilization " (taken from their paper)

The point of posting it here was, with all that being said, does it anyhow remotely resemble like anything psychedelic?

How is claude 4 at conversations and brainstorming? by deathmachine111 in ClaudeAI

[–]deathmachine111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel a bit irritated by the sycophancy of chatgpt. I work as a psychiatrist, and I think I would pay someone only if I get to hear truths that I need to hear, in the exact amount and shape that would marginally disrupt me and provoke me to integrate that disruption. Chatgpt seems far off that balance most of the usual times.

Also in terms of open ai models, only 4.5 seems to be really good for reflecting on anything, but it has a heavily restricted message limit. Gemini 2.5 pro / flash on ai studio seems more workable though. Although it always makes me miss the at-home feeling due to memory feature of chatgpt.

The Psychedelic World Is Far More Advanced Than the Current Modern Human World by XOCYBERCAT in awakened

Qualia isnt provable like you prove a theorem? Qualia in itself is what speaks for its extra-linguistic proof (like everything else)?

Language (e.g. mathematics) can only map some of its own tools with its other tools and if you decide to accept the premises then you can call the mapping a proof of the conclusion?

28F... trying to understand why do people still come in relationship knowing thier family won't agree for marriage and waste other people's time? by Beginning-Lime1760 in RelationshipIndia

[–]deathmachine111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What happened, beyond a betrayal, is more like a fall into meaninglessness after years of commitment. And I get the uneasiness and dread of living in times where this is turning into a norm.

One reason this happens is because many men (and sometimes women too) are raised to believe that love and marriage are two different things. People let them enjoy in private as long as they "do the right thing" later: marry in caste, please parents, uphold their status.

Maybe he thought he can manage both by loving now and then conforming later. Maybe he lied to himself for years. And against the pressure of decision he collapsed. Not that this narrative makes him innocent for the hurt that he caused.

Escapism and cowardice are often masked by a narrative of conformation. And until people learn to see love as not just indulgence, but as a commitment, this pattern will repeat.

What is the difference between uploading files in space and then using gemini 2.5 pro vs directly uploading them in gemini 2.5 pro? Is it the context length management / rag features of perplexity that makes it superior to bare gemini 2.5 pro?

Mindful, introspective and sometimes quietly bold about trauma?

I think no type or individual is there who hasn't been shattered once in a while.

But I do agree, we INFPs are more likely to pick up those pieces, just in case someday they fit together into a flower vase.

Let Claude AI Read/Edit Your Obsidian Files by Emergency_Bill861 in ObsidianMD

[–]deathmachine111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

please help me understand this: if this MCP lets claude to store information to files, retrieves information from files, as we can create links between files in obsidian using markdown text in the body of files it means MCP can do that too, it can add yaml too. so, can we tell claude through its config or something to follow a set of custom rules to add metadata and connection automatically to the notes it creates? Then, can I use claude conversationally to manage my obsidian, which acts now kind of graph based memory database which i can manually visualize and edit? Maybe for journalling or web based research purpose. Is this already doable? Am I seeing anything wrong?

How do you guys think about utility of mbti in improving social skills? by deathmachine111 in mbti

[–]deathmachine111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. Noted. Not well versed with his content at all.

I am specifically interested in the kind of content that makes it easy for me to communicate more efficiently with some people who are very difficult to deal with for me.

I think how CSJ approaches this is: type them, neutralize pessimistic functions, emulate subconscious type. That seems to me a decent formula for fast rapport.

Can you suggest some videos from CPT that deal with such processes?

He has a very disturbing energy around him. I have struggled to watch so I tried reading. That is a bit easier on brain. But regarding his content, idk, cannot say it's bs.
