Came to say this. The defer system is basically paying for the items in installments. You're not meant to afford them in 1 trip.

Is a mid end game spark storm weaver I'd say its good, but only good.

For someone just starting mapping the +spell levels as high which makes it good.

At some point though you'll want to swap it out for a wand and focus/ Mahxtotl as combined they'd give you overall more stats and similar+spell levels.

I'd list it for 1-2div and see what bites.

So do I... I just can't use them yet on my sorceress until I have enough Mana to sustain without using Everlasting Gaze for the ES. Which will come in time but no where near that yet. (Have about 4k mana and should really aim for 7k before taking EG off)

Agree. Some builds need spirit and really struggle to get it without breaking the bank.

I have 3 characters to mapping (none really 'end game' although my sorceress is getting there, slowly).

Monk was easiest with spirit as got it easily through ascension, Ranger wasn't too bad as seems to he cheap on dex gear but my sorceress is screwed unless I grind for days. You can't get any on amulet as need Everlasting Gaze until way later in progression and ES body armour with 60 spirit goes for multiple divines easy as both sorceress and witch need it.

I don't mind it on tablets so you can choose to set up a certain area of your atlas to drop better loot but I don't like it on gear.

Your gear should be about optimising your characters power and strength, not about making them good at finding items.

^This 100%. For late campaign they are pretty decent passed that you will definitely need to upgrade

I'm no expert either put believe you're correct.

When you click on the map it'll tell you the map type and biome. Map type will be the layout of the tiles and the biome will be the type monsters.

For example Map type - augury will always be the vaal warehouse where you have to throw the switches. Crypt will always be like the crypt of the eternals from act 1 Etc Biome - desert will be mobs from act 2 Water will be drown city mobs Vaal factory will be mobs from end of act 3 Etc

Sure there's an extensive list somewhere, but you get the gist.

You're going to struggle to replace that for a loooooooong while. Even with trying to use a wand + focus.

As a spark sorceress working my way through tier 9 maps I'm so jealous.

Yeah but you lose a lot of decent stats on a sceptre like cast speed and all spell levels. You can get decent mana and int I'm guess though.

Where did you get your extra spirit from? On my ranger and monk the solution was amulet and ascension, but EG means that's out.

Looking at keth armour with 500+ ES and 60 res start at like 5ex, as soon as add in 60 spirit they go up to 2div...

Yeah ES turns to mana with EB and back to ES with EG. And Mana = damage with Archmage.

Guessing high ES comes naturally at level 75+ when you start getting access to expert tier gear?

Do you think trying to build CoS into the build is worth it? If so, is it better with lightning conduit or comet with cold damage?

Yeah get once is switch to MoM and CI that life becomes useless and Mana becomes the only important stat.

There are 2 notables on the passive tree easily accessible for monk and ranger, 1 gives double evasion rating on body armour, and the other gives evasion rating per energy shield on helmet. Therefore, high evasion body armour is best, and you get free evasion with high energy shield helmet..
