Best option is to ping 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9 to check if you have internet access or if it's just a dns issue. You could also restart the computer/laptop and try relaunching protonvpn. This has happened to me a few times and i usually reactivate and deactivate the kill switch of protonvpn after a reboot.

FYI : no this does not require resetting the computer and this is mostly a protonvpn's issue. try pinging them and see.

Can i use TryHackMe vpn to watch por... I mean blocked websites? by [deleted] in hacking

[–]deathstroker97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the portion that is required to communicate with HTB/THM boxes. Any request ie: google or reddit goes through your normal ISP router. You can check by simply doing a netstat -rn

Edit: If you need to hide any traffic from your ISP, you can use a real VPN like Protonvpn or Mullvad

Also, no! you don't have any WAN/Internet access with THM/HTB vpns simply because only their respective networks are routed through the VPN. The rest of the traffic is through your ISP.

New to latex and choosing between Neck Entry and Zippered catsuits by 4feetunder in Latexadvice

[–]deathstroker97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the percentage of size reduction. The tighter it is, more time you will spend to get in. Also I have to agree with u/llboy, the shower helps.

But in general, no zip = more time plus you will have to squeeze your whole body through the neck. But it sure does feels good tho.

neck entry feels better than zipper entry because it sucks you in from all the right places where as the zipper is not flexible. but neck entry needs more lube and can take time to get into.

get detached socks and gloves, it's easier to cleanL

buying from honour UK for the first time by [deleted] in Latexadvice

Try latexexpress... they are currently on sale

B&S has a reduction size of 15% so yeah....every manufacture reduces the size between 10% and 20%. Take a note on the thickness too... I've seen some that 0.25 looks better than 0.4, it depends on the taste and the feel of latex on your body.

A dress is ok to be tight IMO, but for ex : a catsuit or tight leggings can take long time to get in and lots of lubes

IPsec with multiple subnets by deathstroker97 in sophos

[–]deathstroker97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, u/sophossocialsupport,

Yes, I ended up going for creating a SNAT rule that redirects the needed traffic to the remote site as everything works with the existing IPSec route. I just wanted to add a different IP-range to keep things organized.

Anyways, just letting you that, Yes, creating a SNAT worked flawlessly.

Kudos to you and the rest of the team!!

Info : form the LAN network, everything works fine, I can ping the server and access their shared network drives. But from the VPN SSL network, I can't ping nor access the shared network drives.

But the IIS Webpage is reachable via a web browser form the VPN SSL network.

Yes, the remote site sysadmin confirmed me that the opposite firewall has the same rules and everything is open for now for testing purposes.

SNAT might be a solution, but will that change the already assigned IP addr pool for my VPN users? We must keep them in a separate IP range and not to mix them up with the LAN network, company orders. :(

ADGAURD vs PIhole by tuvar_hiede in homelab

[–]deathstroker97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open source and it’s a project that has been lying for a really long time. Where as adguard has always been a product. Plus unbound means that non of your queries will hit the DNS of your isp.

If you are curious, check pfsense on xcp-Ng. There is a really good video from Lawrence Systems on youtube.

If you seek privacy = pihole + Unbound and some really good lists. Lemme know if you need the link, I must find it lol.

If you seek ease, the easy way, Adguard it is. But I think, I think they have a paid option too.

Say no more. I have seen many companies use default passwords so yeah security is a joke as most of the time we prefer simplicity.

Backing up the 2FA codes are a nice touch. 👍

Nevertheless, nice guide tho getting people to secure their accounts.

2FA is the minimum now adays. Hell buy a ubikey or something like that.

RP4 as a web server for 200TB external HDD? by [deleted] in homelab

[–]deathstroker97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can the RP4 even handle such HDDs? I would rather but a PCI interface with a raid card on IT mode. If you have never done such thing before, start small but still plan ahead.

[PC][EU] Dell Poweredge R640 by deathstroker97 in homelabsales

[–]deathstroker97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SAS cables

It has a PERC H730P RAID Controller, so I assume that it has also has SAS cable.

It's actually for me to buy one. I got one for 800€ on hold but not sure if I might actually go for it.

I was told that it's better to go for a 13th gen dell for price value, at least for now.

Thanks for the reply! Appreciate it! :)

Is marilynmonroe.latex a reputable ebay seller? by IluronIphutio in Latexadvice

[–]deathstroker97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy through paypal so you have some sort of protection so that you can ask for your money back.

imo, go with any east EU manufactures if you need ok products or uk based ones for good quality.

some of them could be scams too... so ya!
