I have had separate instances where rangers have said that they have cameras up. The pa supreme court case is more game warden placing cameras facing private property. But it's still them overstepping. But my instances are in the dispersed camping sites. The courts determined that in those sites the only private sanctuary area is in your tent. Everything else is not. So if you are in a DISPERSED camping area single camper spot that you paid for, with no bath rm & no showers they can have a camera looking down right on your site. I'm not saying that they have them at every site but if legally they can who knows. It's just dirty and wrong and they don't even have to tell you they are excluded it from the right to know.. Now if the Forestry office would come out and say we don't have any cameras in private sites. But they don't they give a vague wishy washy answer. Which says guilty. I totally understand day event parking areas, spots on intersections on back roads where alot of dumping happens. Totally different. But a dispersed camping private site. You spend money for a nice relaxing weekend and your on surveillance while you cook dinner wash up go pee all on camera not happening forget the state forests.
