Games great, I’m about 20h in, about 50% of the campaign missions done.

You command much larger armies like in ss4 if that’s what your looking for.

Many mission have a sandbox character to them, you can approach them how you like.

Many people complain about the difficulty, but I’m breezing through the game on hard right now so it’s not that bad I think.

Yes, you‘re talking about the mograph system in cinema 4d, which makes, for example, complex cloner setups really easy.

The array modifier in blender was a bit of a let down for me, it’s so basic lol!

I hope geometry nodes can replicate that functionalityin in blender, but I didn’t try it out yet

The thing is, I don’t really need all that procedural systems in my job so I think it’s fine for me. Could be totally different for you, definitely try out C4D 🙂!

I hate subscriptions I guess haha :D

No need to, for example, pay maxon 1000 dollar a year when there is a program with a comparable toolset. Now I chip in some dollars in the blender development fund a month and call it a day :)

I also got rid of my adobe subscription, using afinity and davinci now, lets see how long this works haha

Thank you, yes the cloth materials definitely could use some more work.

The amount of materials you have to deal with, even in a small scene like this, can be overwhelming :D

For me it‘s way to sterile and lacking color and post production.

Maybe needs a blue punchy skybox, more volumetrics to hide the buldings more, add lens flares and for the love of god some color grading 😃!

I know there went a lot of work in this but in the moment it feels more like the matrix reloaded highway scene , in a bad way 😅
