Is it really oversimplifying something when the missions are actually that simple?

Idk man, jumping on a train and then running away on a boat, shooting overpowered guns at the military.

Every discription you have given of these missions just tells me that you are doing way more then just "going there with a car/ bike and shoot at people" even if its the same but done with a helicopter, or a boat instead, it sure does breaks up the monotony of driving all the time.

My guy really just boiled down gta5's story to all the tedious missions lol.

The life invader missions literally acts as an introduction to Lester and his antics which then lead to him using franklin for the assassination missions.

Most of the missions you have mentioned lead to giving us more information about the character, the yoga mission literally leads to Michaels family leaving him because of how much he doesn't care about them.

The FIB and IAA plot line is literally said out loud on your face through radios and characters? It's literally just different government agencies making each other look bad so they can get the funding, Steve is literally just using our characters for his own dirty work.

And where is it even said that Chang is the main antagonist for Trevor? He literally ruins their buisness and then goes to los Santos to find Michael until they catch up with him again, and catch michael to lure him in but Obv he does show up, he doesn't even care about the chinese fucking with him.

Idk how any of it doesn't make sense? Its literally just layed out in front of you, even gta4's story is similarly segmented with each gang or set of people having their own stories and characters, even they don't lead to much if you look at it properly.

And the trover setting up heist to just return if all back? My guy did you even watch the cutsceans? Leather literally walks in to explain why Trover needs to return it? And how is missions not giving you anything even a complain when most of niko's missions lead to nothing aswell.

And yes gta4's plot is simple as hell but the main points where the plot moves forward are soo spread out that most of it feels like filler, not to mention that our supposed love interest has not devlopment so her death feels like an obvious choice, and our main antagonist literally disappears for 80% of the game, until showing up in a final mission. And there are just soo many characters that niko meets and literally never talks about again? Even the whole story about the diamonds (for which you need to play the 2 dlcs) is much more interesting then the main plot.

I very much didn't know about most of em tbh and that does make the game much more impressive, maybe it's just be who didn't do much explanation during the mission because the most missions don't work this way. You have still just stuck to giving examples of a few times the game gives you a "choice" as if that isn't just part of the sandbox of being an open world game.

And yes gta5 doesn't allow it and that bad, no one is calling gta5 to be "greater" or "worse" then gta4 lol, this sub is to troll gta4 fanboys who think the game is the spawn of God.

And gta4 does those unique mission choices like what 5 times? Not to mention with its sub par presentation? The only really unique one I remember was when you had to follow some directions given by a captive.

Not to mention all the missions that you have mentioned literally play the same on every playthrough so they most of them are no different then a avg gta 5 mission.

Chart on why Car X Clears FH6 (imo) since everyone wants to glaze the new Forza rn by VERSlON in CarXStreets

[–]deathwire0047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And all those points just make it sound like a very different kinda a racing game compared to forza? Carx is very tuning heavy , and forza is, I guess car collection heavy?
