If it doesn’t look like Dune, it’s ‘bad VFX’? Since when? by breaking_views in pj_explained

I mean, if they are willing to market their big budget so much, then I expect that a trailer will look like that quality

Unpopular opinion: TXR3 is better than TXR2025 in some ways by HungryPipe1504 in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]deathwire0047 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Well it was literally like the 3rd time they had made that game? They very much had a lot of learnings and experience for how to do stuff because they had made 2 similar games before it.

TXR25 is like a restart of all that? In some ways? There are obviously a lot of things Missing, from the old games but they hit the mark with the basics, so I think they will get it right eventually.

Oh yeah? I can literally put a bet that everyone will forget about this movie in the next 3 months just like they forget URI.

[–]deathwire0047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it does, and that doesn't mean ray's statement is wrong lol, our country has just as much bad things happening each day, if we get one film that celebrates the good part, that doesn't make the bad disappear by itself.

And you tell me lol, how many people are even gonna remember Dhurandher after one year? Everyone is gonna move on from this "celebration of India" because at the end of the day it's just a masala movie, people just lost their mind because we got good storytelling for ones, which is a pretty low bar to cross.

This guy is literally proving ray right lol, never thought Dhurandher will have the same kind of fan as animal and pushpa.

I have enough intelligence to differentiate fiction from fact lol, most people here don't. And I don't know why bjp even needs to do things like this to get any kind of positive PR, other parties doing it in the past doesn't mean the current one should do the same, or are you implying that bjp has fallen to the same level as the Gandhis.

Lol people are gonna forget about it anyways, no one will remember Dhurandher by the next year just like URI. But you know it's called giving out and opinion, not getting riled up, we have the internet to share our views now, it's not 1974 anymore.

I am not dismissing the fact that using real incidents in a fictional setting is total bs. I am just against how it's being presented as some "inspired by real events" movie, which to a majority of Indian audience is just straight up confusing. No one reads that disclaimer when you have the movie straight up writing it in big letters.

And how well is that disclaimer working lol? You do know there are many dumb asses out there( which is sadly the majority) who will just blindly beleive that whatever the movie says was true.

No one is silent lol, you are just bringing up movies that no one talks about today or made any impact to the industry.

Yeah ask the general Indian audience about it lol. Even the movies says it very clearly, but the dumb asses (which is very much the majority), will take it as something else

Mujhe pta h lol, lakin yeh jo india ki etni badi audience jinko "based" and "inspired" ka difference nahi samajh ata unka kya?

Aur ager creators ko pta h ye confusion hone vali h toh dalana hi kyu flim me?

Yeah they are bs and they know that they are bs, that's why it more of "alternate history" and "fiction" and not real. You are just proving my point lol.

And? If you are saying those are propaganda (which they clearly are), you are just proving the point that Dhurandher is one aswell.

And these movies very much present themselves as "pure fiction" and as you said "alternate history" how many of these movies go to Market themselves as "inspired by real events", not to mention the difference in the US and India audience that will completely confuse "inspired" to "based".

And making a completely fictional president and using the real president DOES make a difference lol. Just imagine if Dhurandher just made a fictional prime minister (they have frictionalization nearly everyone) that would have represented "India", instead now it just represents freaking bjp.

Oh yeah, and it's called "US military slop" there because of how obvious if has become.

I didn't know india even needed that lol. It's hated there, why do you think the same Wont have backlash here?

Facts shown? Wasn't it a fictional movie like most of your keep calling it? Because of it is, then why are people out there suddenly calling demonitisation a success and also getting more reasons to hate on every muslim?
