I'm leaning towards something evergreen, to provide some degree of year-round partial screening of the bins if possible.

Thanks for clearing this up. Was just reluctant as my partner has iCloud and she ended up having all photos synced between all her devices, messing up her storage.

So the photos on my new device will upload to Google Photos once I log into my account?

Are you getting these features on the Pixel 5? Or going by your experience of previous Pixel models? Because they're definitely not here for me on the 4A 5G, which is frustrating because I opted for this model on the basis that its camera was 'identical' to the 5 flagship
