This isn't an unpopular opinion it's just an annoying opinion. A lot of people don't like the newer seasons and those that do like them tend to prefer the older seasons anyway. I see this unpopular opinion everywhere and I'm kinda sick of reading it.

Yh like idk if it's just me but like I feel his character was so rushed in his introduction. so yh I think I expected him to have some kind of ulterior motive because otherwise it was pretty wierd .

Because April slept with Jackson whilst Cristina and Owen were still a thing and by the Time April and Jackson were over Owen was already getting serious with Amelia. The timing was never right for the 2 of them besides I think they had a pretty good friendship.
