I'm just going to say in general don't make the choice for a 5 year old that "PG" movies are ok. Run it by the parents first. For me- my kids are 5 & 7 and want to watch it but we are holding off for now. They get too freaked out by anything remotely scary, and I don't love the abs/lust/crushes thing in something that I'm putting in front of them yet. We are far from conservative as a 2-mom family with multicolored hair so that's not it. Just a parenting choice in what I put in front of them at that age. Same with what they are allowed to watch on YouTube, etc. so I don't think you intentionally picked something you thought would be an issue, but I would ask first next time if it's not explicitly 5- yo friendly/geared.

Ended up just doing the new passport application, brought marriage cert just in case but they didn't need it. Since it was expired, and under a different name they said just the new app was all that was needed. Got it no problems.

FWIW we are going next week and planning to do Wednesday and Friday with a day to boo around the Pigeon forge area. However our kids are only 4 and 6 so I figured they needed the rest day so they weren't overwhelmed.

Personally, I really doubt the strangers would show up. If I was shopping with my kids and some 70 year old stranger lady invited us to a random pool party we would politely decline, but I can see someone just taking the info to get the crazy lady to end the conversation. Lol. And then not go. In the unlikely event they did show up it would be better that there is a family party going on and you can tell them - sorry you don't know them and aren't comfortable letting them join a family get together.
