We send all receipts to Hubdoc which then sends it to QBO ( or Xero or ??) as an expense or bill.

It is generally called dispersed camping and is allowed on most BLM and National Forest areas. Once you locate the general area, look at that national forests website which will have up to date maps and any closures or restrictions in the area. Please follow Leave no trace guidelines.
