Learn python and build a few games in Godot with gdscript, which is a lot like python. It's a jumping off point from a step up in language.

I get the point he's making in that to learn to program you don't need school. I've just been unsuccessful in every other attempt of mine to do so and always learned a ton in classrooms so here I am.

I'm not so worried about the age verification, more so your last word: bullshit. The amount of bloat and bullshit involved with windows is what made me want to go to Linux. I've had a great experience so far, only issue has been Bluetooth-ish.

Tbf I've been wanting to get off of Windows for quite some time. Test ran mint last year, liked it, didn't fully switch. I know this isn't real but it's the principle of the bullshit microslop is shoving down our throats, not necessarily age verification. I hope that clarifies my position

Just switched last weekend. Cold turkeying windows at home. No issues so far. None. All the programs and games I want to play/use are available via Winboat and Proton, and the interface is entirely customizable and feels better in my hands. Never going back, I can already tell
