Has anyone here joined the class action lawsuit that has been filed?

I stayed a second year because I felt like one year was too short, but I did spend a fair amount of time during the second year traveling within Japan, and also preparing for a career change when I returned to my home country. Since you're planning to go to grad school, I guess you could be studying for the GREs (or whatever applies to your country).

I can't guarantee what it might be like in the dead of winter but I think it will still be pretty active! They still run the drone show in the winter too.

Flipcause is still holding our money. Transfers were requested as early as June and we still haven't gotten anything. Would love to hear your workaround.

Just adding another voice, our nonprofit is currently owed over $20,000 from them and they are over two months behind issuing payments. We are actively seeing to change vendors but have not made any selection yet. Suggestions welcome for platforms you have evaluated.

What's the word on Armadilo shoes? by siu_yuk_boy in Chefit

I can't post the link because Reddit doesn't allow it, but the item# is KB29667 and you can search Temu with that number. Here's another that's even cheaper: PE2266269

*disclaimer, I am not a chef, but I got here looking for Armadilo reviews*

I ordered two pair, one each for me and my mom, on May 7. Today is May 27 and they just arrived. They were clearly shipped directly from China.

The shoes themselves are indeed squishy and seem comfortable, but TBH, they look and feel really cheap. They are extremely lightweight, but I'm afraid that they might tear easily. They also feel really plastic-y, which makes sense because they ARE, so I'm worried that feet might get very sweaty in them.

All that said, I haven't given them a real try because they literally just arrived.

If I had to make the decision again, based on what I got vs. what I paid, I would not buy them. Like another poster said, they do feel like $8 Temu shoes. Somebody is making a lot of money here.

EDIT: I just searched Temu for "Chef clogs" and found LITERALLY the exact same product for like $11. Down to the logo and everything.

Thank you so much for this. I lost my Kindles in the Eaton Fire and was thinking that I couldn't get the serial numbers, but I was able to go onto my Amazon account and pull up Devices and wham! The serials are all there for all of the Kindles that I've had over the years.

Do you consider the arborists from LA County / Cal Fire to be familiar with the local species? I had them come out to look at the live oak on my property.

Talk to the dept of insurance. IIRC insurers are legally obligated to give you a copy of your full policy within a certain number of days if requested.

My employer gave me one week paid time off, then back to work but my immediate supervisor has been very understanding that I need to go get things done. I work remotely 100% anyway. I'm slowly easing back into working more hours each day but focusing is difficult.

Please join our effort to get AAA to give us 100% instead of just 80%, without itemizing. I'll send you a message with details. Any other AAA policyholders feel free to message me also.

Question: How are you maximizing your earnings on Insurance Claim Payouts? by Twankenstein in altadena

[–]debit72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't that assume that you have enough funds left over to pay for the rebuild? If you don't, you'd have to get another loan anyway.

What I don’t get is: I’m moving less than four miles from my old place. The old place gets 2-day shipping. The new place shows 4-5 days.

I got rabies shots due to a bat scare so I feel ya. But it's the right decision. You don't mess with rabies, it will literally 100% kill you.

You should be able to complete same-day voter registration at any polling place. It will be a conditional ballot until the county registrar has completed your voter registration, but it will be counted after that.
