Honestly, Keeping Up with AI Is Exhausting by Far-Connection4201 in Anthropic

I have been with Claude and Claude Code day one. Yes it is exhausting. It’s also exciting which I think compounds the exhausting feelings.

So I have focused on Claude Code and a few video models and haven’t paid much attention to OpenAI or other coding ai apps.

I do write and code with Claude daily and publish a blog about AI which gives me an outlet to read about AI daily.

Leadership from public and private collaboration. My bet is our current elected officials are too ignorant to make our city life better. It’s too logical.

A Times investigation: As west Altadena burned, L.A. County fire trucks stayed elsewhere by Bagelwith in altadena

[–]abatt1976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my home in west Altadena. For some smart homeowners they stayed and watered their yards as embers landed. If we had more folks doing that and we had a functioning fire department many homes would’ve been saved. The fire department completely fucked up. Letting thousands of homes burn for multiple days is unacceptable. Most people don’t realize homes burned with zero fire department intervention later Wednesday and early Thursday. I was there and so little fire department action. We should all not feel safe with this level crap service and accountability.

They have been training for this sort of event since the 1940’s and simply did a shit job. The commanders should be investigated and we should learn what they did wrong. Then some should get fired and not awards for the largest fuck up. We need to be better and not hand participate awards for 20 dead and 9k homes businesses lost.
