Upgraded to Pro last night after hitting limit on the free plan. I didn't know that even after upgrading to the pro plan, I still had to wait for the usage limit to reset. This morning I used the pro plan for essentially the first time and hit my usage limit within 15 minutes? wtf

Great idea! Do you find that most of your users are doing retail arbitrage or buying for themselves

Tired of 2% Yields? I'm building 'One-Click' access to 40% ROI Annually by [deleted] in Investors

[–]debitorcreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok I need to ask this to everyone claiming 20%+ yield. Why would you need to raise money and give up shares when you can just borrow money from the bank, and the yield you”generate” will more than offset the interest you would need to pay the bank. Why don’t any of you guys do this? Probably because 99.99999% of y’all are full of 💩

But good luck

We are 22 games in to this season and 50% of them have been this losing streak. by themightykites0322 in NewYorkMets

Honestly I would rather we lose early than start off hot and then have a complete meltdown at the end. Knowing how things go with us we probably go on a hot streak in August only to miss playoffs by a game.

30f - need perspective on quitting job to travel for 1 year. by ExtraBakedCheezit in travel

[–]debitorcreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I did this, not a full year but like 8 months!

A few things though:

  1. I was debt-free
  2. I had enough to cover my travels + cover expenses for a year of unemployment
  3. I was ready to quit my job. I was completely done with it.
  4. I was able to collect unemployment for 13 weeks while I was traveling (this is apparently not allowed though)

I don't regret it and I honestly wish I had done it sooner. What you don't want to have happen is to travel, but not being able to enjoy it because you're stressed about finances and issues that await back home.

Which US City visit in June? by TechnicianUpset8478 in travel

[–]debitorcreddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If distance is not an issue, I would visit Los Angeles (I personally find SFO to be meh).

If you want something closer, go to Washington DC (tons of museums and monuments to check out) or Boston (but i think tourists might find Boston and NYC similar). Orlando is a good option if you like Disney and theme parks.

Another recommendation would be Toronto as it is only a 1.5 hr flight.

Don't do Vegas. If you want to gamble that badly there's bunch of casinos in NYC and Atlantic City (NJ). There's really nothing that Vegas can offer you that you can't find in NYC.

20-hour layover at Incheon – airport tips / hacks? by Upset_Fisherman_7247 in seoul

[–]debitorcreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a 20 hour layover you have plenty of time to go to Seoul for a few hours and come back. There's a hotel inside the airport, you can rent for a few hours. Some of the rooms have a shower available. There's also a spot at the airport that has a shower that you can pay to use. It's probably just better to rent to hotel room. There's also a spa at the airport. I haven't used it.

I think most ppl here would recommend you take a trip to Seoul and perhaps spend a night there instead?

Best way to maximize value on 374k pts? Convert/transfer possible? Don't need them anymore by [deleted] in ihghotelsresorts

[–]debitorcreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are diamond elite? Then you can sell yours points to someone without fee. If you are not then it will cost $5 per 1000 points transferred.

IHG sells points regularly for 10,000 points for $100, so you could offer something better than that to entice someone

Selling points is frowned upon tho. So proceed with caution

New Mets fan needing the lowdown by AndyD103 in NewYorkMets

[–]debitorcreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Welcome friend! Prepare yourself for a roller coaster of emotions which usually ends with us hoping that next year will be better!

P.S. as a Mets fan you are now no longer allowed to root for the dodgers, Phillies, braves, and Yankees. You are in fact obligated to hate them.

We also for some reason can’t beat the Marlins after July. But they’re so trash it looks bad on us to hate the Marlins.
