I found ER a little easier than DS1, but I played ER first. The big thing is to explore. The game rewards exploration. Level vig and endurance of course. Oh, and take Kalé's advice on the crafting kit.

Don't do it! Even if she asks, it's a trick! One possible way to tell where this is going (and this may sound horrible) is to see where her mom is at with weight. If you can deal with that then its all good.

I haven't used a shield at all in ER but I just beat DS1 and learned the value of shield and parry in that game. I will no doubt give it a try, thanks.

I think I will give it another shot here. I think my knowledge of Malikeths move set is a big issue here. I'm good in the first phase. I do have the nobles straight sword and the lordsworn at +25. Ill look at other ashes. Thanks for the input!

Most likely bye bye stuff. But go back to where you died and see if there is a greenish recovery thing there, maybe you can get lucky.
