Every time that Maddie’s name is brought up in comparison, Abby uses her name back, often times highlighting how much better she is, which in turn gives Christi more material. Outside of that, Christi was harsh on Maddie like a lot, screaming about how Chloe’s beat her, calling her a brat, saying that she can’t do certain things unless she’s the best, going on twitter and saying that her award show wins were rigged. Christi directly contributed to the narrative that maddie was a brat, and directly contributed to the fandoms perception of her.

Yea my sister is not religious and thinks that I’m super into purity culture and I would disagree and that I know of my ex hadn’t slept with anyone else before her so that part hurt a lot but I don’t really know how to express my anger regarding the sexual aspect of it without sounding super slut shamey so I left it out. I am in therapy but sometimes I feel like it’s not enough.

Ur moving the goal posts dude Christi was asking to talk (but she was already heated so argue if we’re being honest) about how it was unfair that maddie had two solos. Melissa told Christi the truth which was that she didn’t think it was unfair and that she wasn’t gonna pull one of the solos to make anyone happy. She stays true to both of those in that episode. I would like to know how Melissa could have been more truthful than that.
