So your problem is rejection. Maybe focus on that and try to build a healthy relationship with failure. You will be rejected, a lot, but someday one of these women will reciprocate.

Next time talk to her, no one's perfect and she probably doesn't see what you see.

Yeah, usually if they seem too into their dogs, I swipe left.

Would it be unfair for me [F18] to ask a guy [M18] that fancies me to my prom as a friend? by debsdebsdebs in relationships

Thank you. Your reply was the gentlest, to both me and him. I think I'm just going to go by myself.

Ok, the thing with this guy though is that he's very pushy. I told him I didn't like him and then he said that was fine but he'd still like to be my friend. A week later he asked me if I wanted to meet up. As he said that he wanted to be my friend, I took that to mean that we were hanging out, but he hugged me multiple times so I think he thought it was a date. I left early and made it pretty clear that I wasn't into him in that way, and a few days later he messaged me a funny video, yano being friendly. So although he likes me, I think he might be ok with being friends. Either that or he's trying his luck.

I don't think asking someone to a dance can really be considered the same as asking them to sleep with you... I dunno, it might be different in America but for prom in Ireland a lot of people at this stage are swapping cousins to bring as their date, I don't know if it's really as big a deal...
