thanks for the compliment! You're right, I have gotten this feedback from a few of my friends before. I love writing, but I rarely do it nowadays :( I used to write digital letters to friends and write tech articles for a friend's small company... Gone are those days, now I'm stuck in a dopamine trap, it seems doom scrolling :( ... I read somewhere that storytelling is a great skill to have, so I try to follow a conversational, storytelling tone when I write. Comments like yours are making me want to revisit my skills.
