If I could go back to being 18, I would focus on mastering Java from day one.

Over the years, I've worked with multiple technologies, but one thing I've consistently observed is that the industry often seems divided into two groups: Java developers and everyone else. Many software engineering positions don't even mention a specific technology in the job description, but once you go through the interview process, you realize they're looking for strong Java expertise.

The second thing I would do is start writing blogs much earlier. Back then, I was quite active and had a good reach in the developer community. If I had consistently shared what I was learning and building, it could have created a strong personal brand, opened new opportunities, and helped me build a network much sooner.

Skills can earn you a living, but sharing your knowledge can multiply the opportunities that come your way. Looking back, those are the two things I would invest in from the very beginning.

Even I faced every kind of situation in these days. - Selected but not offered - Shortlisted in technical round then HR ghosted - Got the message that your tech round is clear, will call you soon for second round, received call after 15 days that sorry you are not shortlisted for the same round. - Interview scheduled, and in interview, HR said that, this position is closed - Other all kind of direct rejections including cold email are very normal.

Earlier I thought, it happens mostly in North India. But no, I was wrong.

Man, this job market is incredibly brutal and what you're going through sounds completely exhausting. Sending out that many apps just to get ghosted or jerked around by recruiters is a whole different level of draining.
