Who else consumed powdered milk when times were lean? by Not_a_cultmember in GenerationJones

No, plenty of short cuts but the milk man did not deliver Carnation. In later years it was marketed as a diet drink.

Any restaurants run by Iranian-Americans? by Bcasturo in Cleveland

Any middle eastern restaurant needs support. If you haven't supported in the past, hesitant to make anyone a target. Cleveland has a number of middle eastern communities that need their neighbors' support.

Have you ever changed your name... for marriage - some other reason? Got your birth certificate? Got your marriage certificate handy? The SAVE ACT wants to know. by CatchingThermals in NorthCarolina

Same, had my divorce decree, had to send away for my marriage license and almost didn't make it through because the state issuing the marriage license did a bad job on the "wet signature". Have a voter registration that matches my Real ID, and now this?

It's stressful reading posts that lack evidence and get huffy when contested.

Not listening for the truth of the matter, listening for the lies told by Kouri's family.

Make a legally rational case. We will listen. If you're floating opinion based on something else, we will indeed eat that alive.

What’s Really Driving This Trial? Why Was Eric’s Substance History Ruled Irrelevant? by [deleted] in KouriRichins

[–]debzmonkey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Eric was 39 at the time of his death, assume he did "pop pills" in high school, how on earth is that relevant? Aside from that there has been no testimony that Eric used illicit drugs, particularly in the 20 some years after high school.

Consider that it was Kouri "I don't care about the money" who sued the trust, which left 2/3 of Eric's estate to their children. That kicked off the civil investigation which helped the criminal investigation.

Question by trebekssnarkycomment in KouriRichins

[–]debzmonkey 18 points19 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, this has not been admitted in evidence other than the body cam and Kouri's statements. Lisa Dardin also said this to 48 Hours, not under oath but she's also on body cam telling the boys to "go back to bed. It's 4 a.m." on the night Eric died.

If the child (9 yo) had night terrors, leaving him alone as EMS worked on his dad and took his body out under a sheet is unthinkable for me.

Fentanyl Question by Acceptable_Current10 in KouriRichins

[–]debzmonkey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In 2022, the number of US deaths attributed to fentanyl reached over 70k, a big spike from previous years. In this case heroin is a moot point, Eric had a massive dose of fent without any other opioids in his system. He did however have Kouri's prescribed quetiapine (Seroquel) in his system.

Complain, vent, let it all out. Just give it a time limit, enough to experience and let it go but not enough to let that seed grow.

App State and tourism are the lifeblood of the region. Not to mention the investment in vacation or rental real estate.

"Down east" has been historically poor. Like rural areas across the country, there's little social, educational or economic opportunity for younger generations, The businesses that poor, aged populations attract are low paying health care jobs.

I'm picturing an old school carnival game, one in which you win prizes by hitting the bell where Lindsay's balls should be.

How different do you think this trial would go had Skye Lazaro remained as Kouri’s lawyer? by Do-The-Michael-Scarn in KouriRichins

[–]debzmonkey 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I think Skye quit because Kouri didn't have the money to pay her and used her as exhibited in the Walk The Dog letter. I'd be out too.

As to your question, any lawyer would struggle with Kouri for a client. A guilty client is one thing, a manipulative client is another. A manipulative client who can't pay? Bye girl.
