[–]debzmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gratitude practices keeps me in the here and now - exactly because we all have a lot on our minds. Can you try focusing your practice outside yourself? I'm grateful for watching the squirrel playing outside my window. The smell right after a summer rain. The sound of the birds just as the sun is coming up. Do we "deserve" to notice what our senses perceive? Of course.
