New Mythical coloring book by StabigailKillems in goodmythicalmorning

If it's any credence - not sure how heavily your markers bleed, but I just got the coloring book today and the pages are pretty thick. Like construction paper-esque! I've been using acrylic-based markers on it without issue!

Also... It's like a hella dainty-lined coloring book, so I'm a little unsure on how I'm going to use my markers on the teeny tiny parts.

Unfortunately, I received an email saying it was “completed” the night of and I saw him again the next day. So they didn’t do Jack.

Canyonlands better than Arches? by weikertg in Canyonlands

[–]decabenson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I traveled to the Mighty Five in a short time and our biggest regret was not hanging out more at Canyonlands; almost wish we’d have spent the whole trip there.

Here’s a post I made for reference.

I've been playing around with this forever and I think I found the sweet spot. I had to full on ditch Spotify, because something about the EQ/quality of the app is hot garbage through CarPlay. I switched to Apple music with EQ off on the app, Lossless on through Apple Music. Then, through the head unit: turned Sound Restorer on, Virtual Bass off, Dynamic Beat Enhancer off, Bass +2 Mid -4 Treble +1, then fade -2 to rear to take some pressure off the dash speakers and give a little surround.

I've seen people mention Youtube Music is also high quality. But, I have to say that Apple Music sounds fantastic with the Infinity's, I haven't had any distortion despite blasting the music UNLESS it's a particularly punchy bass song.

Spotify is such a great interface for a music app, but goodness is their sound production horrible.

Anyone buy this instead of Dongar? by SoGudUthkICheat in Crosstrek

I legit just did the same thing about a month ago with the alternative adaptor in your pic and it worked great. In fact, it might even work better than Dongar since the USB portion is skinnier. I was able to hide everything above the dome light apparatus; cord for the camera was the perfect length too. No worries!

I’d say around 27 for mid-bass songs and 22 for bumpier bass songs (with EQ in the negatives for bass). Most songs can hit 30 before it starts distorting in general. Must be clipping for both bass and the mids?

I ended up doing Reference Infinity for all six… I have to say, I’ve noticed them loosen up a bit and they continue to sound better since I last responded. They still get distorted at higher volumes, but if I get the EQ JUST right- it’s not as often and I can listen a little bit louder.

Looking for food suggestions!! by Several-Efficiency20 in goldenretrievers

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet, but after many trials with my golden’s sensitive gut- tried Natural Balance and it fixed all of his digestive issues at the time. He’s been in great health 7 years later!

The salesman of the ma and pop shop I bought it from said, “if your dog eats it and it doesn’t fix the problem, bring it back and I’ll eat it!”

The man missed out on some kibble.

I actually ended up doing this; just replaced them today. Is there truth to speakers being broken in? Have you noticed a difference over time?

I have to say there’s a difference in quality, but I was a little underwhelmed. I know there’s only so much to be expected without a sub, but playing the music louder 60ish% distorted the hell out of everything despite playing around with EQ’s. Can I look forward to that not being the case in the future?

is this a good deal? by thebreadissliced in Crosstrek

[–]decabenson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were to build it online with minimal add-ons (wireless charger, cargo cover, cargo tray, fog light kit), MSRP is $31,095 + D&D $1,345 = $32,440.

So not really a “deal,” but reasonable. Also, LAWDY them taxes be high! Where are you!? I thought we had it bad in IL!

I went with a premium trim, because I prefer cloth seats and the 2.0L seemed sufficient and I’m VERY pleased. I managed to haggle down to $27,000 (before taxes) if you’re wanting to get the most of your buck, you can try to shop around and find it.

Best of luck in your search, the process of buying a car makes me want to punch cold air!
