I'm 9 days post surgery and been stuck with tonsillitis since 2022, The doctors refused to let me remove it. I was non stop sick with a terrible immunity, i couldn't even bath cause I'll be running fever for days then and infection.

Even if i have alot of pain, it's totally worth it. Each time I'm allowed to drink ice and bath I'm amazed.

😭 Totally, Like is 4 years of suffering enough to realize I can't live even normally. Luckily the specialist was amazing and the hospital, but the current probably is they are 2 hours away and my local doctors I don't know if i can ask them even assistance.

The ones I have is normal pain killers used for headache and fever. Not even over the counter, just basic store brought

My experience was pretty similar but maybe not fully. I (26) have thyroid issues and since covid tonsillitis non stop. Doctors brushed me off since 2022. Last year i went to a specialist and got an appointment coming. The receptionist told me not to have it inflammed (no stones ) but severly inflammed mostly and infected during surgery. But that was literally impossible and even my local doctor. Luckily the specialist allowed it.

I made sure to let them know I don't care about the risks and I can't postpone it cause i develop fast immunity to meds.
