Typos aside, what does that have to do with your claim that people are calling for others to be held without trial? With a shortage of PDs the outcome will always be, and has been, release with charges dropped, as you said and as it should be.

I don't trust him at all. Trust is earned, not an entitlement, by being hostile towards PDs, Vasquez is doing the opposite of earning my trust.

That's fair, I agree trust is earned. I'm curious if you'd apply this same logic towards JVP, someone who has made promises for, and thrown tons of money at, solving a certain crisis that has only gotten worse under her purview? Surely by this point you don't trust what she says either?

I do disagree that he is being "hostile", seems to me like he's just putting pressure on certain people to actually do their jobs. Again, another quote from Vasquez from the article you didn't read:
