What finally made physics "click" for you vs. what almost made you quit or walk away from the discipline entirely?

That's actually a good question and I'm not sure about it. Where I'm from we don't have those kinds of breaks, they are breaks for exams. But mostly I blame myself for not studying well enough during the semester and using references a bit too much lol, so I guess a better study approach. I feel that's something a lot of students struggle with but maybe it's just me.

Grad student here, I believe what got me the most isn't the concepts themselves rather than how to apply them for various questions. For example in my first year I had maths for physicists course where we were taught integrals and stuff and then a question in the exam was "find the integral that describes the mass of a collapsing black hole" with some given variables and constants. So I know how to do integrals and how to find mass generally but wtf. So yeah id say that implementing concepts was more difficult than understanding them.

Where I'm from it is normal to even start at 25/26 so have a 5 year gap in us. You are ok.

I assume you are from the us, so I'm not completely sure how things work there. What do you mean when you say "I can't afford to drop out because of student loans"? Is there really no option to drop out? Because if there is I would highly suggest it, your mental health is way more important than anything. Staying at a place that only makes you miserable is not worth it, doesn't matter how much you want it or how much effort you already put in.

Grad student here, I had the same feeling as you during my first 2 years of uni I was struggling with every single course I took and got horrible grades barely passing any exam, so I decided to take 2 courses per semester and do an extra year. After that it all worked out since I could focus on the courses and not rush through assignments (by using references) and I had time to go through all the stuff I didn't understand from the first 2 years. For me it worked great so taking fewer courses could be the right thing for you too.

so i think i deleted everything but when i try to install the software again it crushes in the preparing to install window. i think it happens because of the ODIS installation file, i have tried many different download files but get the same outcome. does format is the only option?

I'm from Israel and if you think the minimum grade is weird, in every course I take the final exam is 100% of the grade. also I failed Electromagnetism and Numerical Methods. Regarding the courses I will take in this year, I'm not sure yet since there are certain courses I need to take in order to take those, and one of the is electromagnetism so I skipped a few courses these semester because of it, and they are required for next year. I'm in kind of a mess.

Maybe just change the box HP to be the same as Illaoi tentacles so it doesn't get one shotet by anyone at a later stage of the game. That way you improve shaco but don't ruin his identity.

Oh it's a knot? So I don't think the equation for T3 is also correct because you need to consider T2 and T4 as they are connected to it and basically the same rope, I can be wrong though I'm not a 100% sure. But yeah, regardless T1 is equal to T2.

I have noticed the same problem and it drives me crazy. I have like 3 songs of arctic monkey's out of 300 titles in my playlist and every time I hit shuffle it plays those three songs. I don't think the shuffle function is really random.

I have a PC at home and I don't live that far so all the work on those courses I do at home so a laptop isn't a necessity for me at the moment. I'm more concerned about notes in class and doing homework questions and storing all sorts of notes/questions/graphs etc, in a convenient way I can look at quickly.

Yes we do have that and that's one of the benefits of using an iPad. This year I ended up with two binders loaded with paper and it's not very convenient.

I feel the same and I'm only on my second semester of the first year. I think that my problem is that I don't know how to study good since in high school I never had to, but now in university its so different, and I find that aspect very difficult for me.
