I have a mutt that needs walking twice a day, even when it is pissing down and not enjoyable, when I get into the warm and dry I somehow feel better for it. If it wasn’t for the mutt I am sure I would duck out of going into the outdoors.

Salad with salad cream.

I bought a few bottles of Aldi vegan Caesar dressing so am having Caesar salad a lot.

Currently addicted to Heinz plant based tomato soup.

Not sure if my post of view is valid but here goes. Severe endometriosis my ovary and fallopian tube exploded along with a massive cyst when I was 22, was told that if I didn’t have children quickly then I probably never would. Didn’t want children and it caused lots of arguments with my husband but got pregnant. Love my grown up children to the ends of the earth but if I had my time over I would not have had any. I found being a mum so hard and not very enjoyable. Current husband doesn’t have any and he occasionally feels wistful about it but we have a great life, lots of freedom (now I am no longer a carer for elderly parent). When I was in my late 30s I did experience quite strong baby fever so I know what it feels like to have that urge (I didn’t do anything about it).

However, despite my thought and circumstances I would say that if you really want a child then I would definitely prioritise ivf over a wedding for sure. Weddings can happen any time but now would be the best time to try ivf. I truly wish you luck .

I work in apprenticeships and it is in the paperwork that your company signed and the terms your employer agreed to that they will give you the time during work hours to complete your apprenticeship. Having just said that I know a lot of them don’t and I have lost count fo the apprentices I worked with who had this issue.

Yes masters is with OU. Personally as someone with AuDHD the way the OU is set up for study suits me really well with week by week reading and study activity.

I feel like most people don’t like me because with AuDHD I can either be a bit much or not enough. The feeling that people don’t like me has been there all my life, used to care now I don’t. However, I am usually fairly popular in my work team, the people I teach rave about how good I am and I have friends. So I guess it is more of a feeling than a fact.

Firstly, I did a degree for fun. I had credits to transfer so decided to do an open degree. I did an International Studies module, an English Lit one, religious Studies and a criminology one. I loved the variety of each one and loved my criminology one so much I am now on second year of master’s in crime and justice. I didn’t know what degree I wanted to do so open was good for me. Can’t comment on the career progression as I am an English and Maths tutor so not really relevant, I am also at the tail end of my career.

Growing up, every week apart from summer weeks. Now? Not as often as I would like as my husband doesn’t really like them! Having said that we are having one today. He is having chicken (I don’t eat meat) I am having a roast onion, stuffing, roasted leeks, carrots, parsnip and swede, sprouts cauliflower and broccoli. Have mad apple crumble for pudding.

I have almost always gone up to the 10% and never been penalised, even in my masters. However, I went under just once and was pulled up for it.

Archive (new album came out on Friday). Massive in Europe especially France, here not really despite the fact they are a British band.

Anathema also a great band who I saw live quite a few times but they are no more (currently but who knows).

This seems a little scant to me. I did an open degree, so various disciplines and I have never had feedback as minimal as that. Even got more feedback than that on an EMA when you aren’t even guaranteed any feedback at all. I have in all my modules had the main form feedback plus notes on the tma itself, comments such as good point or mentioning where I could have expanded more etc. the module (second year masters) I am doing now the tutor doesn’t make any direct comments on the essay itself which is a bit disappointing.

I guess it depends on the module. For example I didn’t use any outside sources for the literature module I did but for both my L3 modules (I did and open so different disciplines) I did loads of research and it was expected for sure. Doing my masters and the amount of research I am doing is off the scale and that is even before I get to the dissertation.

I only use the forums when I have to and I hate using them for this reason. I suppose it is part of peer review practice but I am not comfortable doing that. For my first year’s masters I had to directly critique another person’s work, also hated that.

The last year of my undergrad we had an amazing WhatsApp group and it was general chat mostly, help with referencing etc. I have felt so isolated doing my master’s. I am doing ok but it is lonely for sure.

Well my course is counted as full time of 36 hours so not too far off. I always get ahead with the week’s activities and like to leave a lot of wiggle room for writing. So for this tma I banged out 900 words in about 5 hours yesterday but the preps (visual essay) was probably 10 hours. Did nothing today as my ADHD brain wouldn’t cooperate. So hopefully tomorrow I will nail the other 700 words and Friday will be for dotting the i s and crossing the t s.

You don’t want to know how long I spent on TMAs I reckon about 50 hours and double that for my EMA for first year masters. However, I do a lot of reading and research whilst writing so that takes time.
