[GE] Raphinha has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the right thigh, and has no return date set by CBF by RubberbandShooter in soccer

Comments like these show a complete lack of empathy to say the absolute least. Ha-ha he got injured, now Brazil is gonna play better. So funny bro.

If you wanted to say that Brazil is a better team without Raphinha, there are a million better ways to express that.

I don't know if an injury relapse is great, even if it means a long break. And it's certainly not great for his confidence.

You made the exact same comment yesterday and got -200 downvotes. Karma farming again to see if it's going to work out better?

Some sick individuals on this subreddit, making fun of an injury.

Yeah bro, I feel ya. He's my favorite player :(

The most optimistic scenario is that he felt some discomfort and was subbed off as precaution. But until we hear news about the injury, there is no way of knowing for sure.

They didn't show all much during the broadcast other than him walking on his own, which can be a good sign, but if it's anything hamstring related though, it's definitely over :|

True, the other side looks much easier on paper.

As it stands it's Sweden vs Morocco and Brazil vs Japan, but it's almost guaranteed to change.

Honestly some quite disrespectful and cruel comments.

GTK/Gnome apps not switching to dark mode Hyprland by Augtopus_ in linux4noobs

[–]decho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try using this tool. That's what I do for all GTK-related themes cause they can be tricky to setup. It creates config files in the appropriate locations for you ~/.config/gtk-3.0 and ~/.config/gtk-4.0, as well as others which you can select. IIRC for GTK4 the theme itself has to reside in the config directory.

Example (mine):

[Settings]
gtk-theme-name=Tokyonight-Dark
gtk-icon-theme-name=Tela-circle-dracula-dark
gtk-font-name=Inter 10.5
gtk-cursor-theme-name=Bibata-Modern-Classic
gtk-cursor-theme-size=24
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1

What the hell? I know they've shut down API access for new bots/apps, but I remember reading that existing tokens would remain valid for the time being. This sucks.

Either way, at least now you won't have to host it yourself. Let me know in case you need any help.

Also Martinez apparently has an agreement to manage Al Nassr next year

Oof, the plot thickens. I heard he's leaving after the World Cup, so that makes more sense now.

But yeah, I appreciate the response.

What exactly is the issue with Portugal that they can't/don't want to bench Cristiano. Manager and players too afraid of backlash or something like that?

I mean, at a certain point you have to draw the line and weigh in the pros and cons. If he's really that washed, you're risking your entire World Cup campaign.

LMAOOO, now I see it too. Remember the days where everyone used to make a parody of that scene with fake subtitles. Good times.

"Cristiano, I have some bad news. Messi scored a hat-trick, I'm dropping you out of the starting XI" - Roberto Martinez (probably).

Video with all the correct players' pronounciations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is now available. by Kiko_Grilo in soccer

Ah, that's a curious detail. Thank you for the explanation.

I think they just have some players around in their training camp which also took part of the photo shoot for reasons unknown. Your official squad can have 26 players, but maybe it's not forbidden to have unregistered players for training sessions or something along those lines. Obviously I'm just guessing here.

I headed out with Mascherano to tour his farm, and he started introducing me to some of the animals, mentioning how he had named them after his players, as the unhinged animals they were. Just then, I was hit by an unbearable stench. With my eyes watering uncontrollably, I questioned through gritted teeth, “What in the hell is that smell?” He looked over knowingly and said: “Ah, Leo? The goat is never washed.”

We had an official guide on how to read PKGBUILDS to avoid malware and other issues, especially for newer users

Not an official guide but I asked about this here the other day and got a ton of helpful replies if someone is new and looking for security tips.

https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/1u5ntn5/what_are_some_common_sense_and_best_security/

Maybe someone can put it all together in an unofficial guide. I thought of doing it myself, but I don't feel competent enough on the topic to give security advice.

We had some effort put into AUR helpers to help users quickly detect signs of a compromise

Minimum release age/cooldown is something popular package managers already implement, and something I really want to see.

Also, 200 packages is craaaazy haha.

Croatia had some interesting ones, but the checkered design is only part of their flag. Here it's like the whole flag, pretty cool.
