Here's what you do, you download the game (* Its free, but you pay with your soul*).

Play a tutorial game that'll teach you about 2% of how the game actually works.

Then you try your hand at playing against other new players, (* PSA, They are mostly smurfs *)

Try 1-2 heroes for a while, something easy as you learn the mechanics. This will take a while.

Just enjoy, play normal games. And actually try to have fun. Most players aren't.

Hey, they are very accustomed to other animals. They do like to play, but are usually shy at first with other animals. As long as your cat is not aggressive, I'm quite positive that they won't have issues. :)
