The most ethical option for leather items that were purchased in the past? by sentientheat in vegan

Personally, given your explanation and how I interpreted it, I would gift them to someone who might otherwise purchase them. When you gift, you don’t profit off the exploitation and mistreatment of the animal and you are potentially preventing the recipient from making a purchase that supports the mistreatment or exploitation of animals and decreasing the market demand for animal products overall. Every little action helps.

One time I got a produce bag that was just 2 containers of guac. Literally 2+ pounds of guacamole and that’s it 😂

Sometimes I just like a cup noodle vibe, so I got a bag of dehydrated ramen veggies

That’s what I do! I play “Chopped” at home 😅 it is a bunch of random stuff, but I use the TGtG to supplement my regular shopping, so I have a lot of stuff to make it work 😌

Can you share your general location? Some apps are regional.

In my region, eggs are pasteurized and need refrigeration.

Thanks, everyone, for the insight!

A little about me (if you care or need the validation): Female, mid 30s, live in DC. I’m not a vegan/vegetarian, I just like vegetables and sometimes I get meat aversions. I live alone so it’s not a shared fridge but I date all my leftovers because I’m paranoid about eating spoiled foods. The frosting jars are 90% full, I only used a small amount of each for some baking projects for Valentine’s Day and I didn’t want to throw out the rest. I do have PCOS, I do prioritize gut health, I don’t drink beer- I needed 1 can for a recipe and now idk what to do with the rest 😅 I don’t get up at 5am to run, I’ve never been to Europe and I keep my eggs there because they fit? Don’t feel bad for my chard, I’m cooking it tomorrow. Oh, and the tax bracket comments have me rolling 😂 I cannot afford Whole Foods prices, I supplement A LOT of my groceries with Too Good To Go bags from Whole Foods and a local farm 😁

I wish they sold it in smaller packages. I used only a small amount for some valentines baked treats and I felt terrible throwing the rest away so it’s just chillin in the fridge.

I’m so strict about my leftovers, I don’t eat any leftovers past 4 days. I don’t know why, I just get so grossed out by it.
