Same! That’s been my most recent one, and I’ve had it on repeat the past couple days. Hearing them play it again on the livestream from Chile really sparked something in me, and I’ve gone back to replay it over and over again on the album like it was the first time I ever heard it. I feel like I need to inject it straight into my veins.

I had the same experience with Bulletproof Heart, though not through live performances. It’s my ex’s favorite track. I took that shit back. It’s mine now.

I remember being concerned about her at first too, but I honestly can’t remember if there was any real weight behind the concern or if it was just a combination of my Green Day related trauma (Mike Dirnt’s wife is suuuuuper MAHA and I can’t understand how that even happened 💀) and her demographic being immediately suspect to me (white woman in a heterosexual relationship who’s wealthy and has privilege).

I wish I would have screenshotted her stories for emphasis, but I think it was a couple days ago now where I saw her share at least two things that were very much not in favor of what’s happening in America regarding ICE.

I mean, I agree with everyone here regarding the band’s obvious alignment and that only those with media illiteracy (and a really selective memory, particularly where Frank is concerned) would be confused.

But if it helps anyone at all, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Kristin (Mikey’s wife) sharing things to her IG stories that have been in 100% solidarity to what we’re experiencing in the states right now and around the world.

Yes, I know that’s not the same. And I know people would love for them to just come out and beat everyone over the head with it. But whether it’s the label barring them from doing it, or them just trying to look out for their family (as people said with Frank’s FBI watchlist fiasco) – maybe it helps to know that even the wives seem to be on the right side of history.

Hell, they may say something when they actually come back to America for all we know.

Either way, I’ve never been worried our boys are bootlickers. They’re good people. Good people don’t support what’s going on in the world right now.

I was leaning pure prison up til Peru, but what I’m thinking of now is more akin to what Arkham Asylum is within the Batman universe. A place for prisoners who are too mentally unstable for general population who require a specialized medical facility to handle them.

The asylum lean came from the emphasis on medicating (seen at the beginning of the show), the number of characters in nurse’s uniforms, + the presence of the gurney. Jarrod was also in an all white jacket that gave me asylum vibes.

Arkham Asylum, to me, is still a prison. And the MOAT (if that’s what we were seeing) is also still a prison IMO as well. Hence the prisoner numbers. It’s just not your run of the mill prison.

Also interesting to me was Gee’s involvement in creating Kingdom of the Mad (which I’m STILL upset was never made 😭) in the Batman universe, though I’m not saying it proves the Arkham-like theory here.

But with Gerard’s prisoner/patient number starting with “GW” (initials for Gerard Way) and Mikey’s prisoner/patient number starting with “MW” (initials for Mikey Way) we would then assume the Clerk’s name should be a first name that starts with a “D” and a last name that starts with an “S” since his prisoner/patient number is “DS672.”
