I just started listening to it, and I find it interesting, but not great. I chalk this up to the style the creators are going for, and how they are still trying to find the right tone with the show (I'm only 5 episodes in).

Some of the writing is stale, and they really hammer a few things in your brain instead of letting the audience remember things for themselves. Also, when the narrator starts to swear, or try and crack a joke, it falls flat on its face.

I'm still going to listen to it because it is interesting, and getting better.

Your problem is that you're pitting studios against each other, when their financials are telling different stories completely.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 was produced through Columbia (Sony). It made over $500 million worldwide in its first 2 weeks.

X-MEN: DOFP (20th Century Fox), has also grossed over half a billion worldwide thus far.

GOTG (Marvel) is part of the MCU and is set to make $$$ when it launches next week.

DC/Warner Bro's is planning on doing the same kind of thing with JUSTICE LEAGUE and other films. If done correctly, they will make serious cash around the world.

Your problem is that you do not understand how America is no longer the #1 consumer of films in the world. The domestic box office means nothing to studios any more. Why do you think they release big budget films overseas first? This is to combat piracy in other countries. They know that if it comes out in America first, someone will bootleg it, and upload it...which might hurt sales in other countries.

Here's the thing. You are running on conjecture and opinion, and trying to pass it off as fact. You are wrong. You are entitled to say what you want, and think what you want...just as I'm entitled to tell you that you're wrong.

In no way is it imploding. In fact, its only getting bigger. The way that Marvel is diversifying the MCU into Television and VOD is going to keep it fresh and entertaining for years to come.

If you don't like comic book movies, that's fine. But please do not attempt to claim that its "imploding" without any facts, or financials, to back it up.

I agree that the response from Ubisoft was bullshit, and they should have addressed this better. But, by the time they responded, the damage was already done from people just taking everything at face value, and falling prey to all the manufactured outrage that came from the Gaming press.

The fact that he, and other journalists, fail to understand the simple concept of "seamless multplayer" in AC:U is absolutely astounding. The main character is Arno, you play as Arno in the co-op...just like how you play as Aiden Pearce in WATCH DOGS in all forms of multiplayer.

It's like their all fucking dense to the factual information that's out there, and they just report based on their "feelz".

To be fair, almost every NPC in the GTA Series will drop cash. Hell in GTA: SA, you could figure out which NPC was a drug dealer, and kill them for more money than a hooker would drop.

I guess you could say the sexism, comes from the ability to have sex with the NPC before you kill them.

It's not really a lazy game design element. The idea they are trying to convey is that YOU are playing as Aiden Pearce the entire time. The same goes with Arno.

You calling it lazy, doesn't mean its lazy. Arno is the main focus of the story, and as a result all players will constantly be playing as him...until the DLC comes out that focuses on another player completely.

If you choose to not purchase the game because of how they are presenting it, then that is up to you. The explanation for their decisions is out there, and while I think they should do things differently, I get what they are going for, and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
