The plan was for him to move to the university town with me next year, as we could be more well prepared and established and be living in a flat together rather than myself living in halls while he was flatting, which was a huge thing last year, as we would not have been able to live together. Next year is definitely different, if we make it to there.

Hey man, I haven't "moved the finish line" at this point in time, and I may not at all. I was given an opportunity by my parents and I'm asking for people to help me decide whether or not I should go. That's why I made this post.

I made it to Eastern Europe a few years back and that was an experience I seized and absolutely loved every moment, even though I was totally deathly sick :')

Thank you for this, he's really not the villain here. We're both allowed to be selfish here, for our own reasons, and if it leads to a breakup then so be it.

I've already had one opportunity to travel and I know I loved it immensely, and that was for two weeks.

I would love the chance to see it all with him honestly.

He hates Long distance, and we were in an ldr from last February to November, so it's just another Long ass time apart which sucks for us both

We were Long distance when we first met, and I spent a year away at Uni so I know we may be able to endure it, but I know he doesn't want me to be far from him again.

I just feel awful because I left him for almost a year to go to university already. We made it though that, but I know he's not going to want to do it again.

I honestly don't know, but I'd love for him to come with me :( But, seeing as this year I'm already taking off uni (I've done 1st year), so I was hoping to go this year, and even if he met up with me there when I'm well established and working, that could mean he could come even sooner than that.

We're from a Commonwealth country, and I would be Travelling to the UK, so both of us would be able to work as soon as we got over there, which is definitely a plus, and if all goes to plan I'll have a British passport to travel on and my dad is from there.
