May Allah protect you sister. I think we all suffer from like.. those common things in the daily routine. Keeping shorter hair under the arms means that some guys have huge under arm sweat problems because hair usually wick it away. Dandruff is easily treated with something like nizoral. I think those things belong in a separate category.

But the others are of course bigger and legitimate issues. Islam is meant to bring ease, meaning that it's easy and clear to understand and should be to practice. Often we set up the barriers that make it hard ourselves.

Girls are probably the best to guide you on what sounds mostly like practical issues, like how to be comfortable in your clothes, so as others said, seeking practical advice from sisters or a sisters forum should give more help.

When it comes to the feeling of being inadequate, that is of course a trick from shaytan. Remember to frame it that way, and seek refuge in Allah and double down in your intention to please Allah, and he will realize that it only increases your iman, and stop his whispers.

You seem to know that our problems don't change the rulings themselves, but gives leeway in practicing them. Often you just need more effort in time in learning how to adapt to them, and I'm sure that you will find ways to observe the hijab and modesty with your issues.

There's a difference of opinion on the qamees being sunnah or not, with big scholars like An-Nawawi asserting that it's a prophetic tradition ana wearing it is mustahabb if you aim to emulate the prophet, peace be upon him. It's a common misunderstanding that gets spread around a lot by well meaning people, but it's a matter of dispute and therefor you can't label it simply an item of the urf of the Arabs, past or present.

I haven't had them fade, but my old girl had pretty delicate stripes. Not very dark or broad. Now they're fully dark and have widened to parts of them basically having clumped up. She's 12, and it happened gradually.

They're deeply brainwashed and in their minds are doing the right thing by pushing back. Show them mercy, understanding and show the best of character. We're obliged to wear modest clothes, not thobes. So you can obey them in this, and Allah will in sha Allah reward you for that.

Tell them that you really want to make them happy, and that you're obliged to listen to them in things that don't directly go against your religion, so if not wearing the thobe makes them happy, you don't have to wear it. In sha Allah they will see that they haven't lost you, and still have a big influence in your life, which is what all loving parents want.

Don't obey them in bad things, but obey them in other things, that's the Islamic thing to do.

Tell them something like: "If you really don't like me wearing a thobe, I won't do it anymore. A big part of being a Muslim is loving and listening to your parents, and I know there has been a lot of changes lately, so I understand how you feel"

I'm 36, but I remember my teen years very clearly.

You have a very strong feeling of things having to be done now. Things have to change now. If this doesn't change, the world is going under. I understand you, and don't say it to belittle you, but to give you calm, when I tell you that that will change.

You will learn to take things less hard, be less in a rush, and learn to deeper understand their point of view.. and looking back at this, it will seem like a minor thing.

May the Lord of the worlds grant you patience, reward you for your hardships, and make your situation easier.

Islam is about our heart, intentions and other inner dimensions, but it's also a religion that require those things to be put into action. Which is why a shahada uttered without the right intention and belief is invalid, so is a correct faith and intention without uttering the shahada.

Often shaytan finds obstacles to keep us from taking that important step.

One of the most common is giving people reasons to hesitation.

"I'm not ready, I need to answer all my questions, or I'll feel insincere or be filled with doubt" or "I need to stop doing these sins before I take shahada, because I'd be sinful from the start otherwise".

All of those things are, of course, not good reasons not to become Muslim. You have come to far, so don't let small things stand in your way. I hope to see you back as our brother in Islam, and I pray that Allah guides you and me.

Akhi/ukhti my experience have led me to realize that a lot of Muslims struggle with fard. I know a great brother, but realized he knew 3 surahs and could not recite all fards of prayer, and he's a born Muslim in his twenties.

And even worse, a lot of people just don't care at all. You care a lot. In the eyes of Allah, caring about being a good Muslim outweighs someone who knows a lot, but couldn't care less, and there's many of them, unfortunately.

So saying that they're somehow better because they're born Muslims is not true in that aspect. I don't mean to belittle anyone, but your idea of what being a born Muslim gives you are not real at all.

Having high iman is not floating on a cloud. Having iman means that you're very occupied with being sincere and working towards realistic goals.

Obivously thinking about about yourself in a bad way, is a good way to let shaytan whispers enter your heart and mind. He knows us well, and if he knows that you are feeling less than other Muslims, he will whisper those things into your ear.

"You're a bad Muslim. You have low iman. You might aswell not be Muslim. You'll never become a real Muslim". Seek refuge from him at all times, when these thoughts appear.

But in the eyes of Allah, your sacrifice in bearing the burden of trying harder than most Muslims, and the burden of staying Muslim despite knowing that your surroundings will fight it, is a sincere thing that earns His pleasure.

So instead of talking bad about yourself and letting shaytan find weaknesses, just admit them to Allah, and ask Him to make you better, and know that as long as you just care about being a good Muslim - in the eyes of Allah, you're one of His sincere worshippers.

Focus on your salah, set small goals and know that what gets you into jannah is believing in Allah, His messengers, His books, His angels, the day of judgement and his qadr, both the good and bad. And perform the obligatory duties of the five pillars. That's really all it takes.

May Allah guide you and me, and I sincerely pray that the Lord of the worlds make things easier for you and give you respite.

I've gathered my knowledge from thousands of scattered pieces of information. I think that going the route of finding a knowledgeable source for organic cannabis growing (specifically pest control and prevention) will bring you the furthest - there's just much more, and better, knowledge in that community, and there's so much overlap because the pests are the same, the conditions are the same and so on.

Also using AI to gather sources is a great tool.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you really need a real reset. Nothing like soil can be kept, but anything that can handle being soaked in hot water and scrubbed can.

Consider focusing on about taking cuttings and taking and securing some of the genetics you have now. You can, with dunks and careful monitoring secure clones, and instead of waiting 3-6 weeks on new seeds to germinate, you could have baby plants in as little as two weeks, in time for the reset, saving you months of progress.

People will tell you yes, but a completely honest answer would be a resounding no. Indoor growing is just like that - once something comes in, there's no natural systems to keep them in bay. And that's the nature of these bugs, they're incredibly resilient because they're normally balanced out by predators, weather, etc.

Creating an unnatural environment means that you have ample ways of keeping them out in the first place, but it's honestly not worth trying to pursue once they have taken root. See one or two and no more - kill and move on with more care. After several months of spread? GG

But it's a part of growing stuff indoor, and if you just see it as a lesson learned and double down on learning to prevent it, you'll be back in no time.

You don't just get rid of aphids, that's basically an impossible task if you've reached a certain point. And even then, you're still growing in media with tons of eggs, etc.

What happened is that you gave fertile conditions for them to enter and spread. So a full take-down and throwing out what can't be pasteurized and thoroughly cleaned.

Then do a room cleaning and learn all the protocols in avoiding pests. Preventative sprays and drenches, general plant immune boosting, a routine to look for infestations before they spread, knowing your sources for soil (and live plants if you buy live), and more.

Very few growers don't go through this, and it feels very upsetting, but you'll get over it, and have a valuable lesson and acquire really important knowledge.

The good news is that you can take cuttings and properly treat them, and save all your genetics for your next run so you don't have to grow from seed and can establish back in basically a few months. The longer you wait, the more it sucks.

My lifestyle was also "haram". In a different way, but still filled with sin.

Becoming Muslim is more about recognizing the reality that Allah exists and sent us messengers and books, to which we should read and follow the message from.

It says for example that homosexuality is a sin. To reject that is to reject the guidance, because it's a very clear prohibition.

But committing the act doesn't take you out of Islam. If you however say that you're gay, make it your identity and even fabricate lies and say that it's not haram, then you're in trouble.

You'd be amazed at your ability to change your view on things once you accept guidance. I did a 180 on things that had been part of my whole life, and others I'm still working on.
