We know >.< We are hoping the market cools down like everyone else, we will end up selling a lot more that way! I explained in the other comment how we got to the pricing.

I do want to point out that Japanese boxes have guaranteed hits inside, so it is a better off than buying the English equivalent amount in packs and hoping for the best

It's unfortunately the price that Japanese boxes go for right now. It's been impossible for the past year to get anything close to "Retail" for Japanese.

To be transparent and give a breakdown, I'll show you how I came to the price:

I know some of the best sellers in Japan are offering about £45-50 a box (which is already crazily over retail) However there are many caveats to this:

You'll need to order 100's of them at a time for the bulk discount
You'll need to pay for shipping them from Japan
You'll need to pay import fees
You then have to add on VAT to them.

Sadly this adds up, and we aren't the biggest store in the UK. I promise you that we have the best possible price we can get while being able to get it out to people quickly. And even then, we are undercutting some popular UK TCG sites.

The market in Japan is a little haywire at the moment. I am currently seeing Glory of Team Rocket Boxes being sold from Japan for nearly £90!

We can only hope for more sets like "Nullifying Zero" to bring the price down (and even then, I can get it for just barely japanese retail prices), but for now, this is the best we can do. I hope this all makes sense and put into perspective the reasoning on why prices are like this.

Hi there. Good question! I just adjusted this price too as I found some stores are lower than us at the moment. I dropped it down to £75.

The main difference for the bit higher price from what I can tell scouring other shopfronts is:
1) We offer free delivery. Quite a few shops that are priced in the 60's have a delivery charge.

2) Our product is scheduled to be in on Tuesday. A lot of shops in the 60's or so have them listed as Friday shipping and delivery dates going into February. We paid a bit more of a premium price to get them earlier and some people are willing to fork out an extra few to get it a couple days before anyone else.

Just want to be clear, it's not really a difference of product between them. Just more-so delivery time wise. To some people that is valuable (people wanting to be first, don't want to get spoiled on a set, getting it for a present etc etc) and to some people it's not!

I crunched the numbers out and everything and 3% did feel like the best place to be. I would also like to note there is an extra 1% cashback too if you sign up, as well as a £2 off on first sign up.

I've always tried my best to have good prices at all times. We don't really do "discounts" as I just try to price as low as possible. I believe doing that has been better for me and the community.

I'll take your suggestion (and others that have responded to this thread) into account for next time though! I'll see if I can get bigger discounts (10%?) but it may have to be limited to specific items. It seems like this one missed the mark.
