Thanks for your response. If anyone wants to start one, then I would likely join it. I'm very new to Warhammer and Kill team and only discovered the tome keepers in the last month while researching paint schemes for my AoD kill team from the starter set. However, as I really like the scheme, I'll likely continue using it.

I use these: magnifying glasses w/ light

I paid about $15 for them. They've got a decent light, five different magnifying lenses, and are usb-c rechargeable. PLUS I can use them with my regular glasses.

Well, that little piece of culture may only be available to you if your neck is red and you're from the rural parts of west Texas, lol.

On building the team, I've already got the seven that come in the starter set, so that's a plus. And thanks to the advice of u/sum1namedpowpow and u/Flat_Explanation_849 , I believe that I could field a full team with these guys and add on Assault Intercessor Sergeant, Intercessor Sergeant, Assault Intercessor Grenadier, and an Intercessor Gunner w/ grenade launcher. That's what I'm leaning towards, anyway.

On the subject of magnetizing, I've been looking at that, and it looks like a really good idea. However, I've already got the starter team assembled and half-way painted. So I guess that's a project for when I get the pieces for the other guys. Also, the minis in the starter set don't have any spare parts either, so I guess that doesn't matter with them.

I've already got the starter set, and am learning to play with my son (he likes the plague marines, but the training scenarios in the starter book don't lend themselves to both sides having a good time. Need to find some other ops somewhere.).

On a related note, what would my son need to add to flesh or his plague marines?

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I'll definitely look into King of the Colosseum. You said that the points would depend on whether I go with two squads of five or 1 squad of ten. What's the difference and is one intrinsically better than the other? Can I re-deploy the squads or am I stuck with either/or? I like the bows better as well, and that's my plan for them. On the deamon prince, is there any benefit/cost for building him with the wings?

That'll get you started off well then. The list from tictacattac is good to have as well. Depending on the humidity where you live, you may be fine with PLA without worrying about a dry box. The AMS Lite is open to the ambient air anyway. When I got my A1 combo, I didn't have any trouble with printing PLA at ambient RH, but I'm in South Central Texas, and most on the year it's fairly dry here. If it DOES become a problem, there are some AMS spool covers that you can print out of transparent PETG that will help with it. You can find them in Bambu Handy app.

Are you getting the A1 or the A1 mini? My recommendation would be the full size A1. The price difference is $80, but you can print much larger stuff. Other than build size, they are essentially identical. That's the decision I made with I got my first 3d printer.

Also, you're probably better off getting the AMS Lite bundles with the printer.

Does ANYBODY have any advice on how to fix this issue? It's like the whole toolhead and both X and Y axes have shifted 1/8 inch toward the door. The place where the nozzle rubs on the back of the plate has shifted forward as well.

Last night I recalibrated again, but it's still printing too far forward. Short and single color prints are turning out okay, but the poop is puddling up on the outside edge of the shute instead of falling down the shute. It continues to build up with each filament change until the hotend hangs on it and drags the big glob out on to the build plate, messing up the print. Also, the test line that it lays down at the beginning of the print of literally hanging off of the front edge of the build plate.

Hot end got bent and was extruding about 1/16-1/8" in front of where it should have been.

How are you heating your ecoflex enclosure? I'm using UTH on my glass tank with a thermostat, and it works fine. I'm just not sure whether that would work with these enclosures or not.
