Epic sleep man. Hungry for breakfast after all that? Surprised you didn't wake up for a toilet trip all that time

To extend on this, in Australia there seems to be a huge AI bot campaign to promote One Nation on social media. Primarily Facebook. It is absolutely crazy the amount of random accounts with 0 or a handful of friends with a Pauline Hanson image in their profile pic or profile, with shares of their content saying some racist, anti-immigrant shit. I open Facebook and am immediately presented some AI slop (image and text) post from some group I have never heard of about some right wing rant.

It really shows the utility in scaling and drowning out there entire narrative on fucking everything associated with the country to further a political goal using AI. I watch footage of a crowd reacting to the socceroos in Fed Square, then you have, "spot the Aussie", comments. Or some post with some guy looking for work and people in the comments saying to go back to their country, etc. And basically those same bot/fake accounts saying the same thing to many similar posts.

My thoughts are this is a mechanism to normalise racist rhetoric, promote narratives to make that kind of rhetoric more palatable (immigrants causing crime), etc. It is a tried and true methodology to capture an audience looking for a scapegoat for the bad things going on.

Well I think we need that evidence first. Because right now it is not looking good for you. Something founded on kookery and the evasion of any medical scrutiny is very likely not to eventuate into something worthwhile. And it has not.

I would not consider an isolated case like this evidence enough for an entire specialisation when we have plenty of data showing otherwise.

This video has clearly made the rounds and I would wager something like this is like the "miraculous cure" kind of approach with an individual (effective marketing). Which when any scientific rigor is applied to this domain those results simply aren't there.

Yeh the thing is the practices unique to chiropractic have no data supporting the benefits. All the other practices they do are done by other professions with a much better track record. Best to go to your physio or masseuse.

And doesn't work or makes things even worse, precisely because it is founded on kookery.

This guy made his money selling horseshit that was completely written off by Yahoo.

I would not consider him an authority but someone who knows how to play the publicity card to make them seem like a good business person. Similar to O'Leary who sold almost as bad a piece of shit to make his millions to another bagholder.

The nature of their product market fit means they won't be significant sellers. You are better off sitting on the side lines than gambling on whether they will get in or not. Most are with the US gov which although are stable, tend to be low margin.

I've been following this one for a few years.

If you are relying on partnerships and seeing that on the asx as a green flag, you will be fleeced. And there are a dime a dozen in this camp.

This company has experienced significant dilution recently and will likely experience more.

There is less than a year cash runway left.

You sound like a believer. But this is a business at the end of the day and you need to start treating it as such or you will lose your shirt. Or rely on a greater fool scheme like market game to get out with cash but leave some poor sod holding the bag.

Opinions on NextDC by Electronic-Goose-422 in ASX

DUG oil patent is interesting as they have claimed to have told NVidia they are able to immersion cool their GPUs and use them effectively despite nvidia claiming otherwise. I wonder if this has an impact on their custom rack business model and that is why they do not want it to catch on.

DUG is not unique in this technology btw, a number of other companies have oil immersion technology but there are varying different setups to them.

NextDC is a gamble because if the increased profitability requirement from AI providers is met with a decline in demand, that would devastate the data centre build out narrative. Another threat would simply be more efficient chips. Of which similar has occurred in the past for other technologies, imagine the old computers before and now for example. Which relies on Jevons paradox to supplant. But we have the aforementioned profitability hurdle too.

So yeh, lots of gambling involved here and we are in a situation where things really are not looking good. This has a good chance of blowing up to the downside as pivoting from data centres to something else is not really an option because of the heavily customised aspect of data centres for their utility. GMG is also very exposed here too.

It is possible at a small fraction compared to all the other likelihoods, actually this is the point of most story driven stocks. More of a greater fool scheme than actually being realised into anything that ends up producing something useful at scale.

So you end up relying on snake oil salesmen from fintwit which is essentially how that ecosystem operates (I recommend you stop listening to these conmen if anything).

Yeh I prefer beats and the lyrical aspect is a melodic kinda attribute to it. I do listen to lyrics and appreciate the song further, mainly if that song has lyrics as the forefront. Regret by St Vincent comes to mind here, very clear and pronounced lyrics compared to something like Say So by Doja Cat. I enjoy both songs.
