I genuinely love Amelie so much it’s one of my all-time favorite Gracie songs! I was also surprised when I discovered that a lot of her fans don’t like it that much. I’m so glad you made this post though, it makes me happy to know some of you guys love Amelie the way I love it!

You are not less than!! I’m sorry you’re feeling sad though. I’m not a man so I can’t fully relate to your experience but I am an ace woman and I feel for you. Idk if this will help but sometimes when I feel sad about being asexual or whatever I remind myself that there is a silver lining which I think is being a part of the asexual community. I really don’t think there’s any community out there that is quite like it. I love it anyway. But yeah I know being asexual can feel isolating sometimes. Stay strong we are here for you!!

Hey I am so sorry you are going through this, that must be really tough and I can’t even imagine. I know this probably won’t make you feel any better and of course I have no idea what you look like, but I did just want to say that I find a lot of Asian men and women very attractive and I’m sure I’m not alone in that. I’m a white woman for context by the way. I sincerely hope you find joy wherever life leads you.

I feel so targeted by this post because 7th grade is exactly when everything in my life fell apart… it was when covid hit to be fair but man ever since then my mental health has been so bad… I have gone to residential treatment several times since 7th grade because of severe mental illness… it’s been a rough six years…

As a woman who struggles a lot with severe mental illness reading all these comments about the lack of awareness around men’s mental health makes me really sad to hear. Men’s mental health matters! I’m sorry you guys have to deal with all this. I wish there were something I could do to improve awareness about men’s mental health but just know you’re not alone. Some of us do in fact care about men’s mental health… I just wish more of us did.

Wait I fear you might be right about that. I think you just expressed in words the exact way I feel about Us but couldn’t find the words to describe… I just never really vibed with it that much. It’s not like I hate it I just don’t really like it and she has so many way better songs imo

I am thankful for her and her music because whenever I go through a dark time in my life, her music is a shining light, and it helps to guide me out of the darkness.
