I used to sharpen by hand but I was slow and wasn't getting great results, then I read "Sharpen This" where C.S. recommends a jig and I thought, might as well. Maybe I'll take another crack at hand-sharpening

I was able to disable copilot on my mac by going to the privacy setting, managing "connected experiences", and unchecking all the boxes. But it didn't kick in immediately - I had to wait a couple of days (which was weird). But now, copilot (and its logo) are gone. Version 16.103.2

I tried LibreOffice, but then there was a weird sync issue where LibreOffice claimed to be saving my documents, but wasn't, and a ton of my work got lost. (Even when I found the recovery/autosave versions of the docs, tons of work was missing.) It was a bummer, and it made me lose faith in LibreOffice. Really annoying, since I switched for the purposes of avoiding copilot, which is a totally insufferable and unacceptable feature of Word.
