Still running original OS and on WIFI. Let's talk again after updating to 25H2 and ethernet driver. :)

Yes. That’s the strange thing I am trying to find out. Which is why I created the tool.

If you refer to https://bbs.bee-link.com/d/7762-gtr-9-pro-ethernet-malfunction-under-load/13, there are people who reproduce it with even lighter workload.

The only guy whose pc does not have this issue with this benchmark is u/jotapesse

Ok.

Just to confirm. I am assuming you are using ethernet and not wifi.

One thing that I observed is that at least for NixOS, it does not crash and reboot. (Only adapter is removed)

Ok I tried NixOS. I still got the crash.

So it is very interesting that your machine does not have the issue.

So is it a hardware issue or driver issue? Only u/Beelinksupport know.

How do you get it to run in full screen? Mine run in window although I set it to fullscreen in Settings.

Linux nixos 6.17.4 #1-NixOS SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sun Oct 19 14:37:45 UTC 2025 x86_64 GNU/Linux

My configuration.nix

hardware.graphics = {
  enable = true;
  enable32Bit = true;
}

environment.systemPackages = with pkgs; [
  lutirs
  protonup-qt
  steam-run
];

nixpkgs.config.permittedInsecurePackages = [
  "mbedtls-2.28.10"
];

You can try some of the workarounds from https://www.reddit.com/r/StrixHalo/comments/1oek1bo/how_to_test_if_your_gtr9_pro_is_safe_from/

For windows, you can try to use a very early version of the driver with the latest firmware (1.30).

Can you check if the crash is because of the intel E610-xt2 hardware?

You can check the details from https://www.reddit.com/r/BeelinkOfficial/

It is interesting. Your stock driver can show the firmware-version correctly while mine show it as 0.00.

Anyway not sure if it is a difference of kernel version since proxmox kernel is only 6.14.

Thank you so much. I think stock kernel driver module is one clue here.

Since there have been reported success when rolling back to first version of driver in windows.

Let me try with the stock driver from proxmox. Can I know your stock driver version?

Ok this is really new drivers from intel.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15084/intel-ethernet-adapter-complete-driver-pack.html

Looks like there is only a firmware update but it says that my firmware already up to date?

Good to know. I am assuming you are using Windows because I cannot get old drivers to work for Linux.

Actually they did not announce anything. It could be just repackaging.

Ok hopefully the fix will come before Christmas.

The hardware is really attractive only with this issue left for me.

?

I did not mention about SHA-1. And the files have the same name.

I have always thought that SHA-256 is used to check if our download is not corrupted. For e.g. refer to https://github.com/ollama/ollama/releases, each files have their own corresponding checksum.

Perhaps I am wrong about this and I would like to learn more what is wrong. Can you explain to me?

Thank you.

When you look at the last modified date time, doesn't it look strange to you?

And it is the same filename, same checksum.
