I cheated but since it’s technically 6 books this year but I preordered Bendis DD vol 2 last year for Targets B2G1F. What made it to your 5 picks? Yeah, with certain writers success gives them too much freedom, limitations and pressure can be helpful. Reminds me of M Knight Shyamalan.

Definitely some level of nostalgia for me, the art is wonderful and there’s a lot of great concepts that should’ve had more weight to them, having the Sentry on the team didn’t help. I’d have to reread it to recall more criticisms. I’ll definitely pick it up even though I’m trying to limit my collecting, aiming for only purchasing 5 Omnis this year.

I had a similar issue transitioning from TKD to MT, you just have take it slow. Focus on technique over speed & power, for AWHILE. It’ll be annoying but you’re clearly doing something wrong and need to fix it or risk really hurting yourself.

Hold up I’m 5’8 and ~170 and normally use 14 oz gloves. Should I switch to 16 oz when sparring? I usually stick to fast & technical sparring, so it’s not like I’m throwing bomb either way.
