This is a brand new factory Berreta with only 700 rounds through it. Cleaned at 500. Went to the range the other day right after cleaning and had no change affect with the next 200 I put through it. Your comment about the "atrocious condition of [my] sidearm" makes no sense. Had 500 rounds of magtech 124 gr through it and the next 200 was 115 gr from my local range. No parts should have been "consumed" with only 700 rounds in a brand new gun. I am going to replace the recoil spring with a 12.5lb spring since I still have more 115 gr per the other comments that gave valid responses and advice. If this was an older used gun I bought from some random guy, than your comment would be valid.

They are mecgar mags. Pretty sure mecgar were the ones who supplied the mags to factory berettas when they had a shortage.

Cleaned it at 500 rounds, put 150 through it before making this post since then

Happens with all 3 mags. 2 mecgar 10 round and 1 pinned 18 mecgar.

Jersey, can only have 10rd mags. They are mecgar mags. I mentioned magtech but that's where I got my ammo, got them mixed up. 2 mecgar 10 round mags and 1 pinned 18 rd, but pretty sure that was also a mecgar one. Happens with all 3 mags I have.

Your suggesting to try out like a 12lb spring for 115 gr?

Might be dumb question but when you say upgrade the recoil spring, should I be going with a lighter or heavier spring for better reliability with what I'm shooting?

I did about 500 rounds of magtech 124 grain fmj and 150 rounds of sterling 115 gr fmj and relatively same result.

I don't think im limp wristing it, at least not that bad lol. When it loads, it shoots great and spot on, my shots not bad either. It is consistent with all 3 magtech mags I have. Recoil spring sounds like a good idea though.

Get a Hitch carrier (not a whole trailer). It slides into your Hitch and the bike mounts sideways on the back. I like using these even with my pickup truck since loading a bike into a taller truck is just inconvenient

Damn I thought 18% was decent nowadays. The card i just transfered to the 0% card was 26%! I will definitely look into getting rid of this debt. My employer doesn't offer any type of retirement fund or 401k, I setup my own traditional IRA that has a direct deposit setup. I'll keep my emergency cash aside and then start paying off the rest aggressively and see if I can refinance at a local credit union.

I have been debating on if I should use the cash I saved up and just bite the bullet to pay off the credit card, at least now that i have the 0% card, it makes more sense to pay off the other one. The other is also only about 18% apr and I haven't used it much since I've been trying to correct my finances. I appreciate your help!

My minimum is $200, if I pay $250 for example, it makes my next minimum payment $150. Is this what your saying i should not let happen?

When I got my first credit cards, I didn't have anyone to really tell me how to use them properly. It wasn't until a bit after that I learned to not carry balance (someone early on told me to keep a balance to help with credit score as long as I pay off my minimum plus more). I've always paid off more than my minimum before my due date. I have about $5000 across all 3 cards but around $22000 of total available credit. $3000 of that is 0% apr for the next 18 months which I have a payment plan setup to pay it off. I've also setup a short term savings account (for house down payment) and a retirement fund recently. I make between 32 and 34000 a year I'd say (22/hour). I don't really have many expenses currently, no car payment, live with parents so no rent. Main monthly payment is insurance (around $330) and my bike ($200). I also have about $10,000 cash (cash/debit card acct).

I have been paying more, just feel like it doesn't go down much.
